Not far from the beach you find Ca Pepe, a restaurant that serves traditional Spanish and Valencia cuisine. Given the price level of the 2 other 2 alternatives Was quite similar we opted for this one due to the interior seating availability (the terrace outside was fully occupied). We wanted to try typical local cuisine. So as starter we ordered the "tellinas", small moluscs. It requires a bit of patience as inside each shell, the fish is fairly small. Nevertheless it was quite tasty and I'd recommend it to anyone who loves seafood. For main we longed to eat fideau, a traditional Valencian dish similar to the paella or other rice dishes, just that instead of rice, small noodles are cooked with the veggies and other ingredients (either meat or seafood). I found it tasty (although a bit salty, the cook must have added too much), one other person who had tried it preferred even thinner noodles. Overall, the quality and amounts were quite good thus it deserves a 4 star rating. Don't expect a posh, finely decorated interior. The decor is fairly mundane and resembles a typical long-operating...

Queridos amigos 🅼🅾🆁🆁🆄🅳🅾🆂 🆈 🅻🅰🅼🅸🅽🅴🆁🅾🆂‼️

Located in El Saler it looks like an old bar. The Paella is good but not the best tried in Valencia. Service and location is terrible. The waiters were not kind, we asked to replace a dish because it was too dirty. From when we order until the paella arrived on the table we waited about an hour. When it got dark it wasn't possible to see what was inside the dish and when I asked to turn on the lights that were present (but off) they told me it wasn't possible because of the mosquitoes. The mosquitoes were already and not allow to dine peacefully. In conclusion it was the worst experience...

The best paella I've ever tried! It's an hour away by bus from the centre of Valencia. You should go here if you are in the Albufera. Most of the tourists go to El Palmar, but there you only find overpriced restaurants. But Ça Pepe is in El Saler, a not so known place where you can eat for a good price and then have a wander around the village and lake. Remember that's the place where they grow all of the Valencian rice for the paellas. I really recommend it.
