HC Villa Luxury Lanzarote — Hotel in Yaiza

Where to start? Well, that’s easy, it starts from the moment you first interact with your hosts, Maria and Ernesto, who are wonderful and make every part of your stay very special. We had suffered a family loss on the night before we were scheduled to fly, so we had to hastily change our plans. When others were “less helpful” this was not the case with Luxury Celavella HC, who were immediately willing to help. This theme continued to the welcome we received upon arriving at the property, which is warm and truly welcoming, as the couple guide you around the property, they are quite rightly very proud of. The welcome basket and little touches such as the sweet jars and floaties for the pool all add to the feeling that you’ve arrived and are welcome at a very special place. The facilities are wonderful and the pictures in some ways don’t do it justice. The Kitchen is well equipped, incredibly clean and provides just what you need. The dining space is great for a family meal or as a great place to sit and do some work, if you are a little odd like me…. The lounge with it's comfortable seating, lovely furnishings, relaxing lighting and large smart TV is somewhere lovely to relax in the evening or with the bi-fold doors open, provides a great place to escape from the sun for a short while during the day, whilst never being far from the rest of the family. The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. We were sadly only staying for a week, but the team still came in and refreshed the towels and linen for us, which was a lovely touch. The main garden room is just fantastic, with views of the beautifully landscaped garden, across the rooftops of Playa Blanca to the sea in one direction and the Volcanoes and hills in the other. The outside space is where most will spend their time, and I don’t think you would be disappointed. The garden provides numerous seating options throughout the day and into the evening, with a comfortable seating area next to the BBQ which gets the last of the days sun and means others can join you for a drink as you prepare / burn dinner. THEN THERE’S THE POOL. This is the biggest pool we’ve had in a private villa for many years. It is heated throughout the year and is an ideal depth for all the family to have fun in. We have stayed at villas which state the pool is heated but when you arrive it is difficult to believe that to be the case. Not at Luxury Celavella. Upon arrival Ernesto told us the temperature and the following day checked in with us to make sure it was warm enough for everyone. When my daughters asked if it could be a little warmer, there was no debate and within 24hrs “Very Happy Teenagers” 🎉. To summarise. This is a wonderful property with many great features but its biggest asset being our hosts Maria and Ernesto. Wow, what can I say, an absolutely stunning villa with amazing views to the mountains, sea and Playa Blanca town itself. We arrived at Luxury Celavella and were greeted by the lovely hosts, who introduced themselves and gave us a quick guided tour of the amenities provided, and assured us that if we needed anything we need just ask. The accommodation was luxurious with ample space inside and outside with everything you could think of provided including a welcome basket and a few essentials in the fridge, which kept us going until we could visit the supermarket with the nearest mini one being about 5 minute walk away. The heated pool was fantastic, and a highlight of our stay. At 18m x 5m it is bigger than some hotel pools and the biggest of any villas we have ever stayed at before. Our 11 year old son loved it and was also kept entertained by the various games provided, which included archery, darts, playstation 4, table tennis, football, basketball and lots of board games as well as inflatables for the pool. There were 2 deluxe shower rooms, one of them contained a jacuzzi spa bath with overhead skylight. There were 3 televisons with internet based tv connected to teh free wifi provided, and a massive open plan lounge and kitchen area with cooking facilities, which had bi-folding doors that opened out to the garden and pool. The villa really has got everything you need. We recommend getting up early and watching the sunrise. The nearest beach and restaurants can be found at flamingo beach which is about 25 minutes walk. The port which has a few bars and restaurants is about 30 minutes walk or a 5 minute drive. The main town centre where you can find lots of nice restaurants and bars as well as other beaches is about 30 - 35 minutes walk. There is a taxi rank about 5 minutes walk away from the villa or you can give them a call and they will come and pick you up. A taxi into town costs less than 5 Euros. There are also takeaways that will deliver if you want a night in and you dont fancy cooking. It really was the most fantastic holiday, with the only negative being we had to go home and back to reality. We would stay at Luxury Celavella again in a heartbeat and would thoroughly recommend...

We’ve just had the most amazing five-week stay in this outstanding villa and didn't want to leave. It’s spotless, beautifully designed, and has everything you need to feel at home. The large, comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, and stunning interior made it home from home..

The outdoor space is just as impressive—the heated pool is huge, with stunning views of the mountains and sea. The grounds are immaculate, with so much space and the essential BBQ!

It's location is private, but not remote. A 20-minute walk takes you to Flamingo Beach or 45 mins to Rubicon, and while a car isn’t essential, I’d recommend one for local trips (Lidl and Aldi are just five minutes away) and it just makes life easier.

The real stars of our stay were Ernesto and Chena, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. We arrived as guests but left as like lifelong friends. If you’re looking for an extra special villa that ticks every box, this is it. Already...
