Bar Arena — Restaurant in Yaiza

Asked for 4 burgers. One one was correct. Its not a busy time. No excuses. Didn't get the chips. The burger with only meat cheese and onion was full of lettuce. And if I wanted a burger with bbq sauce in it. Id have asked for the bbq burger. I specifically asked what was in the Arena burger was told onion rings bacon everything basically. And it was as described. And a lovely burger too. But with bbq sauce. I hate bbq sauce. And i dont feel it my responsibility to list will the sauces i dont want in a burger on the off chance one of them was on it. I would highly recommend the burgers. But ive lived here 15 years and we dont change our regular restaurant very often. So the first time to come here and get utterly careless service. Seems to me indicative of an establishment that takes the money when they can and doesnt give a thought to what service theyre actually providing any other time. But if youre feeling lucky about what youre served irrespective of what you were told you were getting or paid for, then the burgers are really really tasty. The bar with everything! We went last night for a few drinks, evening meal, and to watch the footie. Great family atmosphere, World famous fish and chips (Defo world famous, the chief is unreal), save some room for dessert because the chocolate mousse (and Apple pie) is to die for. Amazing service from waiters who appear to have crazy memories without writing stuff down. Beautiful cocktails and good selection of drinks. And the prices are best we found in Playa Blanka. This place saved our bacon when we arrived at Natura palace last week at 10.30pm. Me and my hubby were starving an dying for a drink believe it or not the hotel was like a ghost town the receptionist said everywhere was closed but she could order us a pizza delivery......NOOOOOOOO not having any of that we went for a walk and heard Elvis coming from below some stairs, we were straight down them ......Brilliant, three pints later and a pizza plus entertainment who could ask for more at the end of a lonnnnng day we ended up in here most lunch times and all food was lovely and the best...
