It was about a 25 min walk from the beach, along streets, to the start of the trail (at the end of C.Noruega), and then just a 15 min (ish) walk up to the top of Montaña Roja (Lanzarote’s southernmost volcano). With its 50m deep / 350m diameter crater. You can walk the entire caldera (in about 20 mins), so you have lovely 360-degree views of the surroundings.
