I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the tea room Fahlmams Konditorei in Helsinborg, Sweden.

This charming tea room and pastry shop feels like an old, characterful establishment, with a lovely terrace overlooking one of the cobblestone streets. We tried two different Swedish specialty pastries, and both were absolutely delicious.

The service was friendly, but the setup is very convenient: you simply order pastries and drinks directly at the counter and then bring them to your table yourself. This makes everything quick and easy, so you can enjoy your treats without waiting too long.

We visited this renowned (former) restaurant today for lunch. Firstly we found this beautifully appointed eatery is order at the counter !!! Secondly we ordered the FRAMIG FISKSOPPA which was shown on the menuboard out front & also online menu as 149kr however we were charged 179kr we asked why the extra cost & rudly told that’s the price, do you want to order it or not ? Thirdly we had ordered a TOAST SKAGEN as a starter, to our amazement 1 x soup & the skagen came out, I asked the waiter to take the soup back until we eat our skagen, which he refused & returned with the other soup !
