Worst experience , there was a fire incident at the hotel And worst Worst and nightmare stay at Radisson Zurich hotel. I was travelling with my family for making them experience the best time but it turned into worst experience and there was no security neither one person near by whom you can approach. At midnight there was fire incident at the hotel and there was panic every where. We were all sleeping and suddenly at midnight we heard an announcement that evacuate the hotel . With two kids and my parents in next room. Followed by two cancer patient aunt and one cannot walk through staircase. Me and my husband lifted our parents and took a staircase from the top floor to ground. The worst experience and i can never forget in my whole life how traumatized experience it was. The trauma and kind of losing our own people is still a shock. In the morning we were suppose to checkout. With no footwear, only holding passport we went down and waited till the fire brigade came. With so much of cold outside and we are on roads the response from the staff till the next morning was so casual and no manager still. Never ever stay with your family ,stay at your own risk. The reception person says it's was an incident what we can do and it's not our fault. Really ??? You don't keep people at the hotel no manager neither GM available I did not see any security person. It can be incident what measures you took and as a hotel what is your accountability how do u manage people at such crisis and not all prepared where was your crisis management team ? and than fire brigade comes at the hotel, still u cannot see any security person nither staff whom you can approach. With no humanity and no empathy they have ,Pathetic hotel. The day we arrived they said it's very complicated after seeing so many people in one go for checkin. All reservation and bookings were in place, but still cannot operate if they see. Please train your staff to take checkin and wasted our 3 hours of the time . It's like we have to teach them what to do. They did not give GM email id and the reception person was extremely rude as i have asked his bank details or asked something and neither bothered for anything. Please do not stay here there are much better places to stay. I will never ever stay at...
Read moreThis was probably the worst experience in my life. I would really like a refund if there was a way. (Trip.com can you hear me?)Upon arrival, we were asked to check in on an automated kiosk (whilst all the reception staff were not doing anything). After a good 20 mins on the failed system, we were finally transferred to the reception. More than one guest was stuck at this point. We are then given out first room. When we entered the first room, there were still plastic wraps on the floor and the trash can wasn't cleared out (food waste and soda cans from previous guests). The bed also appeared as if someone had just slept on it, with bed sheet opened. We did not take photos of these thinking it's an isolated incidence. Without further inspection we returned to the reception to ask for a clean room. At this point, it appears that the whole check in system had collapsed but lucky enough we were given a second room with manual check in.Same thing happens in the second room, garbage can still had trash in it, and the toilet seat even had stain from previous use. (See images) Knowing we might not be able to get another replacement, we accepted the hotel's arrangement to send in house keeping immediately. Two cleaners came and cleaned the toilet and took out the trash. We did not want them to come in again during our stay. It was later proven a good decision to take the second room. As we walked out for dinner around 8pm, the lobby was filled with guests who weren't able to check in.The team of staff (apart from one man on the first day) was cold and uninviting. Wait, I thought Switzerland was famous for their hotel management education? The hotel arguably had good hardware, things were relatively new but the management was amateur at best. The room was dimly lit, if you drop anything on the floor you have to use your own flashlight to find them.Overall this was a horrible experience. I wouldn't recommend...
Read moreWish I could give zero stars! This hotel should be shut down. It is NASTY. Staff do not care about the customers. The lobby area is always a zoo with people and bags every where. They checked us into our room which had food half eaten from the previous customers in the fridge, overflown food on the gas and the room REEKING of curry!!! We complained immediately & the front desk lady could care less. They sent housekeeping to toss the food from the fridge…that was their solution. We left the windows open for 4 hours hopefully the nasty smell would be gone but it didn’t work. Requested a room change for the 4th time now we got moved into a room with a broken window & clogged shower. The hotel is SO run down. The only customers who stay here are foreigners and they are RUDE! We waited in line to speak to the workers and the foreigners just cut you off and the staff does nothing to maintain any order of conduct. Absolutely disgusting hotel. Would never recommend it!
Check in process is via automated booths, which are horrendous. They can not find your reservations and make you wait for a staff member who all, by the way, hide in the back room. So yes expect to wait 15/20 minutes for help.
Rooms have NO phones. So you can not call for any sort of help or service. This alone should make you not stay here. What hotel have you ever heard of has NO phone in the room?! They are clearly not here for the customers. Please do not support this business, they need to be shut down.
Oh and you get one hand towel to use as your bath towel. How disgusting.
Edited to add: the staff here is unprofessional and lie. Contacted reservations for a partial refund after weeks of back & forth Alexandra Braun agreed to refund 1/2 rooms. So I call my card company and they did not even honor that!! They lied on email and processed even less of a refund. Now going to contact corporate. Do...
