We went to this restaurant for my birthday not expecting much, just wanted to try something new in Zug, and ended getting one of the best services I've had in my life!

The restaurant is very quiet, with soft music on the background so the guest can comfortably talk. You can see the view from the floor-to-ceiling windows.

Food is very good, the compound butter that came with the bread is absolutely amazing. The steak is tender and the fries are fresh and crispy, I could eat a whole bucket of it. The soups were also very well prepared, not the kind of standard mediocre soup you usually get from fancy restaurants.

Above all, it is very worth mentioning how our server really elevated the whole experience. We made the reservation with a note that it's a birthday celebration, so he decorated the table with candle and rose petals. After the meal, just as we ask for the check (we didn't order dessert since we have a cake at home), he left and returned with a beautiful chocolate cake and lit a firework candle on top. While I was taking some pictures afterwards with the cake, he brought another lit candle just so the pictures would look even better.

We were disappointed with our experience - the service was cold and uninviting, the food was so-so. The experience was true to what this place is: a restaurant inside a midtown hotel. Our waitress was particularly uninterested in providing exceptional service, but we did notice more friendly staff in other areas of the restaurant. Me and my husband had a perfect dinner starting with a french onion soup (perfect) for the entre we had mushrooms, for the mains we had the Lamb and ended with a dessert. Everything was good.

The service was extraordinary. The person Csaba was friendly, interactive and provided the right suggestions for the food.
