Came here on a Sunday morning for some breakfast. I like the design inside which is industrial and modern with very high ceilings and great light fixtures.
The staff was incredibly friendly and spoke German (obviously) but also great English.
I had a flat white and the coffee was very good, maybe the best in town. The only thing lacking was the sugar. The only sugar available was packets of white sugar which was a bit of a let down next to such a nice coffee. Would be nice if they had some raw sugar as well.
To eat I went a bit overboard but had a Local Waffle with Zuger Cherries and a Chorizo quiche with a "sexy" salad. The waffle was very tasty and although indulgent not too sweet even when topped with the homemade whipped cream.
The place is small and I could see it filling up fast but if you manage to get a seat it's a great place to relax and enjoy a coffee.
Would recommend and will be...
Read moreI hate it when it happens. A beautiful place, great food but.. unfriendly rude staff. We came on a Tuesday afternoon at a very relaxed time, at my first question I was stopped and told to order on the app. I had questions about the menu, the staff kept rolling their eyes at me. The app to order asks for many questions, I was sure I already placed an order and payed, when I tried to clarify and see if the order is on the way... again, eye rolling, rude answers.. simply feels like the staff doesn't want to be here. If you're like me and this kind of behavior annoys you I really don't recommend. It is the staff job to answer questions, be polite and make you feel welcomed unfortunately it was the opposite. And from the other reviews I can see I'm not the only one...

Service is friendly and quick, all servers speak English, which is great for all the international guests - not a given thing in a not English speaking country! On the other hand, not all servers speak German - therefor only 4/5 Stars
The atmosphere does suffer from the busyness of the place. It does get quiet crowded - One table fewer would benifit the coziness (and I do not like the music but that's a question of taste)
One of the few Dog-friendly places in Zug,...
