ML Hotel 晨光飯店 — Hotel in Chiayi

I was staying here for the second time with my mom due to the good price and location when I was showering and the glass shower doors were jammed, so I could not get out of the shower. Since I was alone at the time in the apartment, I tried unblocking the door but it didn't work. At some point of trying to open the door the whole glass front shattered into tiny pieces. I was very lucky it broke on the other side and not on me, I could have been severely injured.||I told this to the hotel staff, who on the call with his manager said that the shower doors jam frequently but so far the hotel guests were always on the outside when it happened and not stuck inside the shower.||I kindly asked for a refund, since this is a severe safety hazard, but the hotel said that it's not their problem if the shower door breaks.||I am very disappointed by both the safety standard and the hotel service. They can't take away the shock that I endured being in a shower where the glass front broke into pieces, but the least they could do is refund...

New hotel, about 10-15m walk from train station. Taxi Drivers don’t seem to hear of it - need to show address and highlight that it is at junction of Guangcai St and Guogua St.|Reception staff are very helpful with recommendations and friendly. I stayed here with my daughter for the second time.

She was showering and stuck inside the shower since the door was jammed. I was not home so there was No one to Help. She tried to open the door when IT completely shattered. Luckily she wasnt injured, but she was very shocked.

We asked the hotel for a refund for a room with a broken and unsafe shower, but they would Not accept any responsibility.

I am disappointed by the service since this could be a great place, but unfortunately does not care about the safety...
