巴中聖淘沙旅館 — Hotel in Kaohsiung

Great value hotel in Kaohsiung. Room transported me back to the 70s in (at least for me) the best way. If you removed the new TV you might be able to sell it as a "time capsule" sort of experience and charge a lot more. That might be a bit less fun though. I was a bit weary after reading the bad reviews but really it’s not that bad guys. The location is an enjoyable 30 min walk to the ferry to cijin island. 10 min walk to yanchengpu mrt. And the room while dated and the bed was very hard, was clean and quiet. There’s a laundromat below and nice view of the river. I think for the price it’s good value. They provided towels, some bottled water and shampoo too. My aircon worked fine. Staff were friendly and check in...
