Recently had a delightful stay here and would like to share my experience:

Self check-in using the machine was a breeze, adding to the convenience factor. CU Hotel's modern ambiance and close proximity to Kaohsiung station made it an ideal choice. The surrounding area offered a variety of shops and restaurants, adding to the convenience of the location. The hotel room was both modern and clean, providing a comfortable and pleasant environment. The spaciousness of the 3-person room accommodated us perfectly. The bathroom was also spacious, ensuring a comfortable experience. A water dispenser in the hallway was a thoughtful addition for guests. On the 7th floor, laundry facilities (washing machine and dryer) were available for a small fee, but remember to bring your own detergent. The only drawback was intermittent internet connectivity issues at night, but it didn't significantly impact our overall enjoyment. The hotel staff, accessible through the hotel phone, provided excellent and friendly assistance whenever needed.

In conclusion, CU Hotel offers a convenient and modern stay in Kaohsiung. The self-check-in process is hassle-free, and the location very close to the train station is advantageous. The location of the hotel is very close to the Kaohsiung Main Station, which was very convenient for us.The hotel room was very clean, in which the beds and facilities inside were maintained at a high level of hygiene.The service of the hotel staff was magnificent. There was a slight leakage problem under the toilet sink, and after we informed them of the issue in the morning, they already fixed it when we came back to the hotel in late afternoon. They were really efficient and also very friendly in responding to our queries.In terms of facilities, we felt that there can be a few improvements. First of all, there were no microwaves inside the hotel. We suggest adding some in order for guests to reheat food that they might want to eat at the hotel. Also, it would be great if there is a common area for guests to sit down and chat or eat together. In addition, the TV remote control in our room had a really slow response time, in which each button took like 5 seconds to work.What surprised us was how spacious the room was. For its price, the size of the room felt like a bargain. The intelligent voice butler (small AI-esque machine) in the room was also a fun device to use and play with.Overall, we had a great stay at this hotel, and would definitely recommend it to travellers...

CU Hotel was definitely convenient in terms of location and accessibility.

It offers a self check in (there’s a machine in the lobby for you to retrieve your card). This was done very smoothly, as well as the check out process.

Room had a quirky wallpaper that amused me and my partner. The bathroom was spacious and well stocked as well.

We ran into some difficulty finding our room. The convention used by CU hotel is that it adds an unnecessary 1 in front of the level and floor number.

Our corridor and room (1306) smelled of sewage the entire time. It was quite unpleasant.
