麵屋田介 — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

This is a new ramen restaurant in the neighborhood, and I tried their 麻辣地獄味噌拉麺 (numbing spice hell miso noodles) and asked for the spicy version at 220 NTD. I love spicy food and I've tried similar spicy ramen in Japan, but this version was fairly mild in comparison. There were a few thin slices of pork along with the half-boiled egg. Not foreign friendly, avoid this place if you have any sense. Service is forgettable, I felt like cattle being herded into the slaughterhouse, the level I expect from a Japanese style restaurant left a lot to be desired, it's no different from a drink stand: get in and get out. Late delivery of food, my partner got her food and I then had to wait behind 2 other customers who came later than us. There's no atmospheric music, so it felt like an old Taiwanese buffet lunchbox place minus the TV with Taiwanese news.
