Kiwi Express Hotel - Kaohsiung Station — Hotel in Kaohsiung

This is the first time that I went to Kaohsiung with my junior high school’s friend for traveling. Before we booked the hotel, we found out that our government announces a new policy about the traveling subsidy, and this subsidy is promoting the city like Yilan, Hualien, Taitung, Kaohsiung, and Pingtung. The reason why the government has this subsidy is that there was some natural disaster happen so that no one wants to go to visit these cities. At the time my friend and I knew this subsidy, we decided to go to Kaohsiung.||First, we gave a call to the hotel to get the detailed information, when I was talking with the hotel’s staff, she introducing this subsidy very detailed, she also told us that we need to apply on government website so that we will have the qualification for using this subsidy. However, at the time we want to live in the hotel is Thursday and Friday night, but this subsidy only suitable on a weekday night. What’s more, she told us that for four people is better to live in two rooms so that we can have two people to apply for this subsidy to get more benefit.||After living in the hotel, I fund out that although it is very cheap, the hotel’s environment is really good and comfortable, the front desk is also kind to the guests. The rooms provide enough daily necessity, and the room price also included the breakfast, a normal buffet. According to my experience, I think Kiwi Express Hotel is a hotel that I will recommend my friend to live in this hotel also using the subsidy. For my next trip, I think I will still choose Kiwi Express Hotel because of the good service and comfortable...

The shower had barely any water pressure, the hand towels were poor, there wasn’t any hand soap. The water tap was very inconsistent with the temperature. Could not enjoy a shower. The bed was very soft my grand mother could not handle although I could tolerate it ( reason for two stars ). The paint needs repainting. However, it is a subpar room and if you can tolerate poor water pressure, and you don’t mind looking at the horrible paint then it’s for you. Would not recommend if you are looking for a comfortable place to rest.

First time to Kaohsiung, and first time to this hotel.||||||Price: Reasonable (yes, a good budget hotel).||||Room: Clean, Tidy, Spacious.||||Breakfast: Tasty, and have some variation everyday.||||Service: Excellent. Staff are nice, with warm greeting everyday. More than that, they would willing to talk with guests, giving suggestions on itinerary (merit to front desk staff 小茹)||||Location: Convenient, just 5-8 minutes walk to Kaohsiung Train Station.
