We actually book the room for three nites. However, the stay was unpleasant so we decided to check out after the first night stay. In the morning after our first night stay, we received a call at 1140am telling us to check out at 12 pm in the same day. We were shocked because we actually book the room for three nights. The operator explained that it was their hotel policy for customers to check out at 12pm and check in at 9pm daily during our hotel stay. Meaning to say we need to check in and check out three times for our three nites stay at this hotel. How ridiculous can that be and this policy was not stated anywhere when we make the hotel reservation. Adding salt to the wound, we have many bags with us and there is no lift direct to our room. The supervisor Wang called us and said we have to check out as it was mentioned in hotel booking reservation but we insisted it was not stated. So he performed a double check and realised it was not stated under the english website when we made our booking. He did offer to upgrade our room after they realised the mistake but there was already much unhappiness created so we see no point in staying on in this hotel. But he mentioned he will waive off our remaining two nites stay charge with no penalty. Seriously we felt that it was their fault that this important policy was not written in their website and that this was not highlighted to us when we check in on the first day. For people who stay 1week in this hotel, means they have to check in and out seven times? Good riddance! On top of that, there was a fine metal spindle on their jacuzzi flooring, my friend got poke by the spindle around 1cm deep into the flesh, it was very painful, luckily no major injury. There was also loud noises coming from the other room on the first night at 130am in which feedback to operator and they did responded. Overall, not a...
Read moreI got pissed by shallow lies by the world wide population, so this review; When hotels advertise as having swimming pool, 99 % means hotel’s public swimming pool for all hotel guests. This motel had such no specific information on trip.com advertisement. So I naturally thought it would be the case as well. But upon arrival they said that swimming pool is in a private room. Some 5 star hotels have presidential suite with living room and grand piano, but this motel is just fraud, they should have made it that case. It was misleading advertisement. I only chose this hotel for swimming pool. They then said if want to get that room, pay 5000 NT for upgrade, and 2000 NT for just 3 hours use. This whole process also took 30 minutes. So I complained and they claimed I need to pay since it is advertised on their official website. Have I made website reservation? I made trip.com reservation. Truly absurd.Plus inside the room all surfaces were filthy during entire stay but I gave up even talking as they appeared as beyond communication, lacking any sorts of shame. I developed folliculitis during my stay here, but crazy people of the world always strive to normalise all sorts of negativities such bed bugs or violences or theft or insults or discrimination rather than fixing them, so let them be who they are- messed up. Who cares about hygiene and professionalism when all you can care about is money and your own feelings??Maybe I should move to Singapore with such strict law on hygiene and fraud. The world wide population really knows nothing but money and making others suffer. People are sick. It’s been...
Read moreWe ended up checking in and checking out immediately. There were a myriad of issues and that should’ve been the early warning sign that this place wasn’t going to be awesome. I’m actually surprised this hotel operates as it does because there are private garages for the rooms and no check and balance on anyone being dragged inside against their will. ||There are loads of good reviews on TripAdvisor so maybe our standards are too high. Pls judge for yourself. ||1. no direct way to our room and we had to drag our bags through the parking garage like up and down the winding garage ramp and not a person walkway. ||2. Chemical smells in the lobby and garage. Initially I thought this was paint but it is significantly stronger than that. ||3. We requested a non smoking room and it clearly has had people smoking in it. ||4. The room had no access to the outside so no fresh air coming in at all. I think by itself it wouldn’t be so bad if the air filtering system worked. ||5. No real escape route if there was a fire or earthquake. The door marked exit was locked and wouldn’t open. ||6. The bedroom looked like a porn scene complete with a condom waiting on the counter. Super glad our child didn’t notice it and think it was candy. ||7. The hotel staff I think tried to make things better by offering us a room closer to the lobby but at this point it was too late. ||||We ended up using agoda to book The Lin. So far it’s a way better property and I don’t feel like I’m going to be abducted for a||Human...
