GOGO HOTEL-逢甲館．回行旅 — Hotel in Taichung

Love this hotel and will be back there again. Very clean, staff are friendly and good service. Shower, tub and toilet areas are separated into dry and wet areas 干湿分离. Love their generous supply of good body cream, shower gel and conditioner. Even bought 4 bottles from them! They provide extras such as foot spa, neck massager, different types of pillow etc etc of cos subject to availability (we didn't hv a problem borrowing them). There is an overall professional feel about this hotel.

On one of the days as the hotel was full crowded, the restaurant staff were well organised with, handing out signs to guests to assist in seating arrangements. Quite a good spread of food which were often topped up.

It is not too far from the night Market, u can take a stroll to the night Market in about 8 to 10mins walk. Even before you reach the main night Market area, there is a shop specialising in bento which is tasty n cheap, and another stall selling lobster or seafood porridge which was yummy. Forgot to mention at the hotel there is a lounge area (with balcony access) where they provide a daily happy hour where you can sit, relax dri k coffee, their sodas, sweets free n also a mini arcade gaming area for...

Highly recommend this hotel if you are choosing a hotel to stay at feng chia area, Taichung. Check in was a breeze and counter staffs were friendly. Room was clean and comfortable, I had no issue walking barefooted on the floor. The bathroom water pressure was strong and it comes with an automated toilet bowl with seat warmer and bidet spray. Size of room is a little small but was sufficient to accommodate 3 opened big luggages. Breakfast was not bad with different menu daily. Drinking water of various temperature is available on level 1 and the hotel also provides free simple snack and they taste good. There is a small gym with free weights. Hotel has a laundry area but was unfortunately not available during my stay (Apr 2023). The hotel is just a short 5-min walk from Feng Chia night market and the bustling feng chia area. There is a family mart right opposite the hotel and I managed to purchase and top up my easycard there. In fact, there is another family mart and a simple mart (mini supermarket) down the street. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids aged 11 and 12 doing a self drive in Taiwan in Dec 2023. This hotel provides free parking lot which is good for us. Other than the size of the room which is quite tight for us with 2 big & 1 small luggage, the room itself met all of our requirements. Big Queen beds, with 3 pillows for each pax (one soft & one hard pillow to meet everyone's preference), a sink that also acts as a dressing table with many shelves, bathroom with hand and head shower and a toilet that can warm the seat. The hotel's location is near Fengjiao night Market and many good eateries, 7-11, family mart and even a laundry shop. The hotel also provides a sumptuous breakfast, tasty snacks at the common areas and even have water dispenser and 2 computers for everyone's use.
