Feng Jia 25 Hotel — Hotel in Taichung

I thought that maybe I could share my experiences as a foreigner staying here for my mandatory quarantine and the ensuing self-health management period.

The room was very clean, I had a double bed (which was comfortable, with nice pillows) and there was a television provided with some cable. I wish the bed linen didn't let the blanket slip out so much, it made the blanket really shapeless :D The curtains were very good at blocking sunlight, which I appreciated very much. I wish I had a few more trash bags, since we got so much takeout during the quarantine and sometimes the trash would accumulate quickly.

The bathroom was very clean, the supplies provided there were really nice - hair comb, multiple toothbrushes, the regular things (soap, shampoo, shower gel). We got about 3 towels, which was enough for the 8 nights (more than enough, actually). There were also slippers provided to us, and about 10 bottles of water. The hotel also provided a non-slip mat, which is useful.

The AC worked really well and it wasn't too noisy, which was great, but it isn't needed overnight since the curtains block the sunlight well, as I mentioned earlier. I wish there was some kind of bedlight so you wouldn't need to light up the entire wall, it felt a bit too bright at nighttime, but it was nice being able to turn off all the lights from the bed using the buttons on the wall.

The delivery was alright, but I think it would have been nice to have some more variety and smaller portions. I also think meals were served quite early, especially breakfast (at 7:30).

The location of the hotel was nice, however there was a lot of noise since there is an elementary school below the windows, also there was a middle school nearby. As few people have mentioned already, the soundproofing is really bad at this hotel. I could hear people coughing, doors opening, other people's doorbells, tv noises, conversations, room service etc. It was a bit annoying sometimes, however it is not something that can be easily changed.

The staff and the customer service in general was just lovely, they even spoke very good English, which was really sweet (I was prepared to use my limited Chinese, but it wasn't necessary) and communicated very well over their Line account, pretty much 24/7.

Overall, I would rate this hotel experience 8/10, so very decent :)

The hotel room is comfortable enough although it’s small room but with a queen size bed and a balcony attached. The bathroom is nice tidy and clean. They provided hairdryer which under the basin and shampoo/shower gel is provided in room. Furthermore, a 7-11 is located nearby the Hotel with about 5 min walk and about 15 min walk to the Feng Jia night market. Overall stay is comfortable and feeling safety as you will need a tag card to enter the premise after 11pm but the Hotel room wasn’t sound proof (as we can hear the people was talking in the corridor and the another guest is closing their door) and the spot to hang clothes wasn’t convenient. 我們這次是第一次去台中旅行，突然找到的這家“逢甲25行館”看了Trip.com、谷歌上一堆的飯店跟一堆的評論，好的看壞的也看，看到最多壞的是寫熱水不熱、房內有蚊蟲、床單不乾淨(有小蟲,螞蟻)，但這家逢甲25行館在谷歌跟Trip.com上的評論是相對其他家來說唯一我自己看到沒有那麼糟的，好像有些是寫有灰塵等(別家有看過訛錢的,雖然不太清楚真假)我們這次去，有事先看過這家的網站官網上的價錢，和加他們的line詢問後的價錢，及booking、agoda、Trip.com上給的優惠的價錢，最終Trip.com上的價錢是我看到最優惠的。在Trip.com上下訂後會給電子收據及證明，我在大概入住五天前有line詢問飯店是否有收到我的訂單，飯店也回覆我有確實收到。在當天14:54分飯店使用Trip.com私訊詢問我大概幾點會到飯店入住呢？我們是剛好三點多可以check in後的沒幾分鐘就到了後來拿了房卡，坐電梯上去後，房間雖然不大，但是麻雀雖小五臟俱全，該有的都有（被子，浴巾兩條，廁所衛生紙，桌子椅子，吹風機是小型的但風量蠻大夠長髮女生吹乾，衣架兩個）。或許唯一的小缺點是房間的大門下的縫隙有點大，大約可能有2公分左右。所以隔音真的沒有到超級好（但門是厚重的，若是飯店能夠買個隔音條，好像是隔音棉做的之類的？放置於房門下，隔音應該會好很多，我們有實測，若是用興奮心情說話的音量，例如閨蜜熱聊時聲音分貝會稍微提高的音量笑、大笑或是哼旋律的話，站在房門外的一公尺至兩公尺，其實都聽得一清二楚。而其實房間跟房間並沒有距離很遠，另一間房間的門就在你房門不到30公分處，所以你真的不能太興奮太大聲，不然那一層都知道你在說什麼）我們這次去住的是4樓，不清楚別層是不是也都是這樣。但這次我們去，幾乎沒有聽到別人的聲音，都很安靜，一片寂靜，只有第二天快11點左右，聽到我們隔壁的房間拖行李箱出來的聲音（咔咔的敲到門的聲音）那個聲音大聲到，我們房門幾乎沒有遮擋聲音、隔音的功能。就很像我們直接開著門，然後聽到人家行李箱拿出來的聲音這樣。浴室熱水來的算是快，大概1分鐘到2分鐘左右來熱水，到的時候有摸摸看桌子，確實是有點灰塵，大概像3個禮拜沒有人用過這張桌子的感覺。就是摸起來你看得到灰塵，但拿桌上衛生紙擦一擦還是很乾淨的。床很好睡，是偏軟一點點，冷氣真的有冷😂在這個炎炎夏日，非常棒！不然根本會被熱醒，我們沒有調過冷氣的溫度，好像原本就是16度左右嗎？我們沒調，不太確定。可是原本的溫度就是很涼爽，只是吹久了和睡覺時會覺得冷，不過準備出門的時候走動，就不覺得冷了櫃檯人員很親切，也跟我們詳細的講注意事項，走的時候放房卡時發現有大概7 8張房卡已經放在櫃台前，沒想到昨天晚上有住那麼多人，但卻很安靜，沒有聽到別人的說話聲或是別的聲音（也可能是我們都凌晨1...
