My single room on the second floor was very comfortable. I had a shower and a bathtub, which is what I think the "spa" is listed in the amenities. There is a public pool with a waterside just one block away. I didn't use the laundry service and didn't see a bag or anything in the room. There were outlets that allowed me to avoid using my adapter for my phone charger - there were USB plugs in the wall. There were several channels of TV available in English, including CNN and HBO. There's no channel guide, just explore. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of traditional and Western foods. There's a coffee maker that makes only fresh Americanos so you might get a couple of refills if you want US sized ounces. I would recommend this hotel. It's also really close to the metro, a 24 hour grocery store (Well come), 7-Eleven and another convenience store. FYI the metro is cash only unless you are getting a card of some sort. Staff at the hotel and really everyone I encountered in Taipei were very nice and polite.

Paid for a Triple Business Room, got scammed into a dusty, disgusting Luxury Double Room that was cheaper. Staff lied and called it an “upgrade” and we believed it that time until we checked the price online. Room has inadequate sunlight as it’s at level 2, it feels eerie. There’s dust flying around, small flies at the sink, and someone’s used mask still hanging in the shower. Even the room smelled musty. Got bitten by mites and had itchy red spots after sleeping one night. Request to change room, but front desk just brushed us off saying no other rooms were available. After two horrible nights, they finally let us change, but cleaning standards were still pathetic. The video is after we asked the cleaner to clean it & there’s still hair around… The only good thing about this hotel is the location and luggage storage. Definitely wouldn’t come back again.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The room was light and well furnished. Snacks and drinks in the room were complementary which was really appreciated. The bathroom had a bath and a shower, both kept very clean and in good condition. The included breakfast was really nice with a good selection of both Western and local styles. To top it off the receptionists and other staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again. Thanks!

Firstly, the hotel's location is rather secluded, and although there is a convenience store nearby, the area lacks pedestrian activity, especially during the evenings. This made me feel somewhat uncomfortable when returning to the hotel late at night.Secondly, the interior decoration of the hotel leans towards a more traditional Chinese style, which may not appeal to everyone. Personally, I found the classical aesthetics a bit outdated.Furthermore, I was assigned a room on the basement floor, which was quite different from what I am accustomed to in regular hotels. The fact that all three rooms were located on the basement floor made me question the standard arrangement of rooms in your hotel. Additionally, I experienced consistent difficulties connecting to the hotel's Wi-Fi throughout my stay. I reported the issue to the front desk, and they assured me that they would send someone to assist me. However, despite their promises, the problem was not resolved, and I was left without a reliable internet connection.During one day of my stay, there was heavy rainfall due to a typhoon, and I discovered that the exhaust vent in my room was leaking water. The leak persisted for over an hour, resulting in the dampening of the carpet and the corner of the bed. I immediately contacted the front desk, and a staff member came to inspect the situation. They mentioned that it might not be possible to switch rooms as the cleaning staff had already left for the day. Although I requested a room change, I was informed that it would come at an additional cost. Eventually, a person who appeared to be a supervisor offered to move me to another room on the same basement floor, and I appreciated their helpful attitude. However, the issue with the Wi-Fi still remained unresolved.Overall, I must say that my experience at your hotel was less than satisfactory. The combination of the inconvenient room assignment, persistent Wi-Fi problems, and the issue with the leaking exhaust vent dampened my stay. I hope that you take my feedback into consideration and take the necessary steps to address these concerns. I believe that by doing so, you can improve the quality of service and enhance the overall...

Oh, this...is going to be long.

The staff only speaks chinese...It was really hard to communicate. Also the room we booked wasn't even available, so we got booked to another room. They called this an "upgrade" , of which we didn't even ask for. They gave us the VIP room. At first we were like "Oh, okay. That should be fine." Uh, no, it was NOT okay!!

That room was absolutely nasty. It was on the top floor. It looked as if it wasn't used in decades. There was piles dust absolutely everywhere and when we asked them to clean it, the staff didn't even do it. We didn't even want to SIT on the bed let alone SLEEP in it. The walls literally changed color by the humidity and looked saggy. Whatever year this hotel was built, it seems there hasn't been a renovation since then. Sheesh.

The beds were hard, sheets with some holes in them and the pillows had stains and just looked real old. There were times when there was bugs in the bathrooms and an ant infestation too.

You could tell the room wasn't even prepared to have guests. The heat was unbearable when we got in since the AC wasn't even on. We had to run the AC for 3 hours before the room started cooling down. We were absolutely shocked. We couldn't even change the room since all the other ones are already booked.

Oh, and there's only one elevator. It only goes until the tenth floor when there are a total of 11. We were on the 11 th floor and we had to climb up and down stairs every day from our room t'ill the tenth floor to use the elevator. It takes quite a while to wait and honestly, I rather take the stairs.

The location was good. It was near convenience stores, restaurants and pharmacies and facilitates going to tourists attractions since it's not too far (by car). It has good bathrooms overall the...
