I dont usually feel the need to leave a review even if the place is pretty good but WOW WHAT AN AMAZING DINING EXPERIENCE. HAIDILAO DUPE?? I THINK NOT. THIS PLACE CLEARS HAIDILAO ANYDAY. other than the fact they dont have a sauce station, we ordered a set for 5 pax and we later found out we could swap out the vegetables (which we didnt want to eat) for more meat????? And thats basic service????? With no additional charge????? Insane???? AND THE FOOD WAS REALLY GOOD. It wasnt a case of affordable but bad quality food, because wow the meat was so so good. And the service is absolutely incredible. Attentive, can speak BOTH ENGLISH AND CHINESE, IS FUNNY AND ENTERTAINING AND PROVIDED AMAZING SERVICE THROUGHOUT.
High quality food, amazing service, set meals so worth the value. I cannot recommend this place enough.
MAJOR MAJOR PROPS TO OUR SERVICE STAFF TODAY. Their english nicknames were Ball🎱 and Corn🌽. I HOPE YOU GET THAT BONUS IN YOUR SALARY. I HOPE YOU HAVE AN AMAZING WORK LIFE BALANCE. I HOPE YOU ENJOY GOOD GOOD FOOD FOR THE REST OF YOUR DAYS. 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

Read moreQuite enjoyed my stay. Definitely recommend it if you look for hot pot with some nuance. This restaurant has a Mongolian theme. Soups are in Mongolian style and they recommend having the food without dipping into soy sauce. I ordered a single set, which came with a type of meat of your choice (picked lamb), a bunch of vegetables, a bowl of rice or a pack of glass noodles, a desert, unlimited drinks and unlimited yogurt smoothies. Though food isn't unlimited, it should be enough for a normal person. For the food quality, I'd say the lamb is quite decent and recommend to anyone who likes lamb. The staff were friendly and sometines invited customers to play a hand game with Mongolian theme. At the end of the meal, the staff would invite you to choose one of the NGOs to which they will donate some of...
Read moreAs the name suggests, it's a hot pot serving establishment within walking distance from Jiantan station.
There is a variety of 4-, 3- or 2-people sets, as well as personal hotpots. There are 3 different kinds of broths, meats include pork, beef, chicken, lamb and various seafoods. Side dishes include youtiao, the churros looking "bread stick", kaobing etc. and there is even some dessert included in the set meals. Prices are a bit higher than at an average hotpot place, but I think the overall quality and the presentation worth the extra charge.
The broth I tried (生養湯) was indeed savory with herbs and spices like nutmeg, goji and red date inside. I also had some youtiao, which happened to be a bit too filling, but overall, it was a...
