Hotel Fun Taoyuan — Hotel in Taoyuan City

It was a single floor hotel located in a big building, in Taoyuan. At about 25 minutes away from the airport, it's not in an area with a lot of places to go, but is good for a short stay somewhat close to the airport. There is access to a 7/11, a grocery store, and a handful of restaurants near by. Employees were really nice and offer the service of booking taxis for you in advance, which was really convenient. They don't really offer food, but do have utensils, a microwave, water, and cleansing necessities. One thing that was a little disappointing was the scent of cigarette smoke we found in our bathroom. They have the rule of no smoking, but it may not be enforced extremely harshly. One more flaw about the facilities is that the bathroom isn't an enclosed room, but rather just two stalls inside the hotel room, one with the toilet and one with a shower with the sink outside which was inconvenient. I rated 3 star for the location, ‘cause in the building is a pub I think or KTV with girls in it. And elevator going to the hotel isn’t separated, so it smells cigarette. But overall, the room is sooo clean and good with its prize. Plus the amenities are good, you can refill water and other amenities from the lobby that is just few walks away from rooms. The decoration is a bit old. It's on the 11th floor of the old building. The first floor is almost like ruins. There are eight buildings underneath. It's not recommended for parents and children to stay. There was no hot water in the cold night. After asking, we found out that the hot water in the whole building was broken.
