KIWI SHARE HOTEL ZHONGLI — Hotel in Taoyuan City

Better than I expected for a hostel/backpack hotel. Several floors are hostel type shared bunk bed rooms with a few private bunk bed rooms for 3-4 people. We stayed in a 4-person bunk bed room and it was surprisingly spacious and very clean. The sheets, blankets, and pillow & cases were provided, you just have to put the sheets and pillow case on yourself. They were very clean. The whole environment in the room was very good and quiet as the door is a very duty door that provided good sound insulation. The 2nd floor is the lobby and could use more cleaning in the seats (under the seat cushions of the arm chairs there were lots of dirt and crumbs etc). The shared spaces are all pretty nice with 2 PCs you can use, lots of dining and hang out areas, and a large kitchen area with breakfast which is just simple bread toasts and several kinds of spreads. There's board games, and even a Nintendo switch which we didn't try, but some nice activities provided. Staff were helpful with questions we had, and when we left the staff with glasses even came up to us and gave us several little rice roll snacks for the kids. The idea was a little surprised me about sharing room space(no doubt good C/P--one night less than NTD$450).However the hardware and management not so well as I thought. Such as the double layer bad upper,too dark and narrow. The living room has no extra plug for notebook and music volume if it lower would be better. BTW this time I got a roommate full of cigarettes smells so the next day I asking change a room, good luck the front desk lady very nice and welling change a room for me. Also this time I use this hotel for daytime work trail without overnight experience. (I can't imagine how hard if I stay...

【結論】畢竟奇異果是連鎖的，若沒有菸味單論住房設備與價格的話，確實不錯！但有煙味的話就真的謝謝再連絡！以Agoda訂房，不知道是不是用網路訂房，提供的房間相對沒有那麼好，一進門撲面而來的菸味讓人頓感不妙，因此向櫃台要求更換房間，所幸櫃台不錯，換了一間房間後就較無菸味，且住房空間與設施都相對較舒適。 ────────── ［建築設備］ 建築外觀及空間設計：二樓則是 Check in/out 的地方，交誼廳也寬敞舒適。 整體環境及景觀： 距離火車站很近，要從後站出來才會比較方便，但晚上在房間也會依稀聽到火車的聲音。 附近異國料理較多，有些店家滿好吃的！旁邊鄰近溪流，有新整理好的步道，散步起來很舒服。 公共區域： 僅有一部客用電梯，等電梯等到天荒地老。 二樓公共空間不僅有電腦還有販賣機，晚上餓了也可以吃零食，且有免費提供咖啡與飲品。 二樓公共空間煙味不明顯，但上樓到客房走廊後，就會開始聞到煙味。 停車設備：一樓有機車停車位，汽車是採機械停車位的方式。 餐廳及宴會設施：早上用餐的餐廳即為二樓的公共區域。 運動休憩設施：- 客房設備： 整體設備不錯，冷氣雖為中央空調，但可以調整溫度。 插座不多，入住的房間僅有兩個插座，但兩個插座都額外還有各一個USB插孔，對於現代人來說，插座是少了一點。 隔音效果一般般，不僅在房間外可以聽到房間內的聲音，連火車的聲音也依稀聽得到。 吹風機是固定在牆上的，但至少是固定在房間內而非浴室。 房間燈源光線充足，且有全身鏡，貼心的地方是房間內有地燈，就算要睡覺燈全關掉，也不至於室內全黑。 房間內並無提供冰箱，只能在二樓公共空間的冰箱冰東西。 衛浴設備： 第一間入住的並無乾濕分離，僅有浴缸，第二間入住後就有乾濕分離，洗髮精與沐浴乳是固定在牆上補充的那種，整體而言並沒有可以挑剔的地方。 旅客安全措施：採用房卡管制。
