Check in was decent but it looked like they were lacking social skills and english. Location is near good vibes on the beach and friendly locals. Beach boys are the only problem. You cant relax in peace because always they want to make some business. Bargirls are friendly but pole pole and lacking english some of them. They never understand us right what we want to order. They dont earn enough money, so I understand them. So the owner just want max profit and workers are paid minimum same as everywhere. They should pay them more but so many staff and they just stand around and do nothing. In Europe they would fire me, if I would be like that. I understand pole pole and its a nice that they give a chance people to earn some money but they should train them! They hardly understand english and they cant convert money from USD to € or even they national curency ( they had big problems and even charged me 7000 more in shilling as daily rate) for two smoothies on the tuesday. At the end when we checked out they brought a bill and said that we didnt pay smoothies from tuesday. We were shocked because we always pay upfront and always tip workers!! I payed in tanzanian shilling when I ordered two drinks and even gave a lady tip of 10.000 shillings (total 40k). We were sad because they were so unorganisized and I felt really sad after 3 good days we spend there. Place is without windows and without proper door. So couples watch out. Mediana age is for eldery 60+! There is no proper privacy. Cleaning ladies are always watching around if you are in the room and they want to make you a net and spray for insects even if you didnt want the first day. Mosqitues can come inside easily. There are termites and ants everywhere in the wood and shower is very slipery, so watch out eldery. Im young and I almost felt when I slipped with flip flops. They spray the room but at first cleaning lady turned every light on, then she opened the doors and let even more of them inside. Mosgitues they love light, you should gave cleaning lady a torch or something. You can hear all night long someone walking around property, some guy even took coconuts from the tree at midnight. Its weird. And put some net on the door, thats a big must! Around property they are lacking cleaning around the beach and nature, some of staff are lazy and I never saw a manager so its even not their fault. Property is lacking management and to learn a people how to do a business, how to use basic english and to learn a staff more!! Breakfast is every day the same. Chef is solid, but chicken was dry, squids were hard. Springs rolles were very good, and rice curry too! Beef burger good. I was happy with him, so respect him or I hope hes gonna find a better job for a chef somewhere else! One lady once asked us at dinner for dessert. I didnt even know you could get a desert until day 2. Didnt get one desert at the end because they were so confused when I walked to the bar to order. Last night they didnt asked me if I wanted a dessert but we even tipped them for two juices and a big water. Hotel is average for 3 days and I couldnt wait to go forward. Beds are too small. Im almost 190cm and I couldnt even strech and matress is so hard. Walk to the beach is hard down stairs for eldery. Some staff is super friendly, but im really sad about last thing that happened there. I though at first maybe its for 3 stars. But after check out I gave only 2. I feel bad for some of the staff because its not their fault but the manager. If you are over 80 and have dementia than visit them and hope they dont try to scam you to pay for something, that you already payed! And im not even hard to satisfy and im always respectful but they didnt said even sorry at the end. Dissapointed. Im not...

I would just like to say "thank you" to Roger - he works here. He was the best what happened to us during this too-long-stay. He always remembers what we eat for breakfast so we did not need to ask several times for butter/salt/ketchup, etc... While the rest of the staff sometimes behaved like having their heads in the clouds and we always needed to ask them to bring additionals. That was quite irritating.
"-"Actually, I do not know where to start. Because from the very beginning everything seemed to be lovely. But that was just an illusion. Firstly, let me start with the breakfast options as this is very important and it's included in the price. If you like eating big breakfast - you'd better prepare yourself for paying more. Because during our first breakfast one guy from the staff (unfortunately don't remember his name) took our order but we realised that the omlette is done with two eggs only so we asked him to do with 4. He said he would ask the chef and come with the answer. He did not come to inform us. Just while serving the food he said the chef said no. I was like yyy...okay but this is not enough so we want to order something more for breakfast. We ordered two scrambled eggs and you know what? In the evening, we got the bill to sign that we need to pay 2 dollars for two extra eggs. This is unacceptable. While you're staying in the one place for 9 nights, this kind of breakfast becomes boring and repetitive and it's unhealthy to eat the same things every day. Just be aware that the breakfast has poor options. Secondly, I would like to mention that if there is no manager available in the hotel (what happened everyday for a couple of hours!), if you get hurt / there is no chance that you get the first aid kit from the staff. There was the situation that I cut my finger very badly, I was bleeding but I was also out of my adhesive bandages. It was around 8 P.M. I came to the staff asking for some help because I couldn't stop it but the lady said the manager is out now so she cannot help me. In this hotel no one knows where the first aid kit is. Ok, thanks for your help.
Last but not least, the manager - Jamiel. He seemed to be friendly but actually he was not at all. We realised that the staff is scared because of him. He said them to charge the guests for everything. Literally! Once, he realised that we bought some fruit in the village and came with it to the room, he talked to me saying not to keeping the fresh fruit in the room as when the ants come, I would be in big trouble. I said ok but what to do. He advised me to bring the fruit and they would keep it in the fridge. I said wow, thank you. That's very kind of you.... in the evening, the bill prepared to sign with 1$ charge for keeping the fruit in the fridge. There was no fridge in the room so he took advantage of the opportunities every single time to charge 1 dollar even if you would like to keep one mango in the fridge. Horrible. I also need to mention that when he was out, the staff was behaving in a different way. While we bought some drinks when the manager was in the office, the staff charged us even for ice cubes, can you imagine? But when he was out, they just didn't. That was also interesting that when the manager got back to the office from the break during the day, he was the most important for the staff because they served him first - coming with an ashtray and a bottle of water (always when he showed up) while the customers were still waiting for...

Dinners were tasty too (minus the driest chicken in my burger) breakfast could be better, it gets kinda boring to just spread one thing on the toast every day. It is also kinda hard to get the food since everything is covered with plastic foil and thusfore very wasteful, it would be better to just have everything on plates and have some lids to cover the food. Bungalows aren't really bad for the money, but definitely need proper doors, there is no mosquito net on the doors, so prepare for mosquitos. The lack of privacy is another problem, because you hear everything since there aren't proper windows (just mosquito nets) or doors (just shutters) talking, mixer mixing smoothies, birds in the morning, cleaning in the morning, even the fan is loud. Mattress is very hard. They want to spray your rooms in the evening against mosquitos (could be a plus for someone), but probably get them more in the bungalow with opening the door and not closing them and with lights on, so we skipped this routine, as also the knocking on the door at 9 PM when you're in bed is inappropriate. The biggest problem this accommodation has, is the staff. They are friendly, however very confused, don't speak English well, don't know their own local currency exchange rate, ... I can understand they work just slower than we are used to, but they are just very confused. 4 people behind the bar and you have to repeat your order 4 times and they write it down and still check it for the fifth time with you when you sit down ... The thing that really left a bad taste in our mouth was our check out, when we were told that we haven't paid for all the drinks during our stay, which is not true. We had two mango smoothies, which my boyfriend paid and one of the staff members came back with no change and my boyfriend said the rest is for her. Then the next day I was asked to sign a bill and I thought they obviously write everything down so they keep track and I signed it, (oh, I was wrong!) we also drank some other drinks that day for which I also paid right there and then and also was asked to sign a bill, then the billing system stopped all of the sudden. I don't know if there was a misunderstanding on their part due to bad English skills or they were trying to scam us, but it certainly ruined everything in the end, as we were nothing but nice, we always paid everything upfront, and even always left the tip even though the service was certainly lacking. In the end, at check out, we were made to feel like we were some kind of criminals in the reception room. Also no one even tells you what is included for dinner, so we thought just main course, but apparently there is a starter and dessert also. Also worth to mention, beware of the beach boys, they are friendly, however they prey on you, as soon as you go to the beach and out of the water they will try to sell you anything and everything, they are very persistent and this could get annoying when you just want to relax on your holiday! Overall, the beach is gorgeous, the property could use an upgrade and the staff definitely needs proper training i.e. learning better English and at least learning their own local currency...
