We recently recently went to Zanzibar and stayed at the Paje emerald escapes for 15 nights. The first week or so we stayed in the Casa Mia which was stunning and it was very nice to have someone who took care of all the admin and organised the cleaning staff for us. The house was amazing, everything worked, the only downsides being the lack of a cupboard in one of the rooms and not many cooking spices, both of which were nothing more than minor inconveniences. We then stayed the rest of our stay at Casa Cristiano which was equally as amazing. This Vila had a cupboard in both rooms so the only small problem was again the lack of cooking spices. Other than that the house had everything that we needed, with plenty of cutlery, crockery and all the appliances we needed. I really loved the placement of the Vila’s as they are walking distance from the shops and the beach, without being too public. There was also good wifi and a generator which was very helpful to keep the air conditioning on when there were power outages. I really enjoyed my stay here as it was very easy, stress free and beautiful. If you are going to Zanzibar and not wanting a cramped up hotel room, I really recommend staying here as it has plenty of space and a well appreciated private pool in each Vila. 5/5 stars as it was about as stress free as you could hope for when in a different country

We stayed in the beautiful Casa Mia for a few days in early December. The villa is perfect for families, spacious but cosy. As soon as you walk in you can see the care and attention that has been lavished on the place, with beautiful furniture and stunning gardens. The owner David, and property manager Lesley, are easy to deal with and keen to ensure every detail is looked after from start to finish. The only minor issue is the regular power cuts the island has, but the complex as a generator, so these don’t last long. The owner has thought of this, and provided candles in the villa to make it a memorable experience. All in all, a beautiful place and we’ll certainly be back!

I recently had an amazing experience staying at Paje Emerald Escapes. The villas are clean and well equipped for cooking and living. The pool and garden are perfect for the hot days and the staff are extremely friendly and efficient. The villas are situated very conveniently being only a short walk to the beach, shops, gym and a very beautiful and must visit attraction called Maalum Caves. The interior is well furnished and has all the amenities you need making your stay completely stress free. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful holiday and I have no complaints.

Although I didn’t get the chance to book this accommodation, I had a very pleasant experience communicating with the host. He was extremely helpful, provided me with detailed information about the stay and the extra facilities he could offer, and always responded very quickly and kindly.

I truly appreciated his hospitality and professionalism. Since I can’t review the stay itself, my 5-star rating is based on the amazing communication and service I received. If you’re considering booking this place, I highly recommend it based on my experience. Hopefully, in the future, I’ll have the opportunity to stay...
