Rohan Guest House Starts 199 THB — Hotel in Chiang Mai Province

We stayed two nights in Rohan Guest House, we stayed in a huge room with comfortable bed around 30 min walk from the centre of the town. Our problem come when we rented a motorbike from hostel the name of the rental is "life style for rent" which is connecting with the hostel, that reference we should put to them but they don't have any link in google so, sorry about that but directly the hostel are connecting the rental so our experience with these rental was kind of nightmare the motorbike was break down in the middle of national park we call them to notify the situation and then they derived the responsibility to us when we didn't crash,hit or lost the keys of the motorbike the problem was in the engine we can not control what is the situation of the engine because we are not mechanical they must care about motorbikes maintenance and costumers. Next day we returned the keys because we couldn't return the motorbike was breakdowns 100 km away, we thought the problem was finish but nothing so far, next day the owner of the hostel called us she said if we don't return the motorbike they will report the police, after same call phones tried to explain was not our fault so we decide to pick up the motorbike when finally we return the motorbike they said we have to go to police station because they already reported us. Omg!! We return key, we return the motorbike, we spend much money and still have a problem. We met the owner of rental in the police station when we arrived we explained our story, the police looks like they understand but they asked for 2000 baths for close the report after negotiate we get a treat for 1000 baths we are completely tired to explain our situation so many times even they seems the understand the option they gave us is pay or continue with the process and go to the judgment obviously we are travelling we can not stay more in one place because the next one is waiting and we have a itinerary so we are not agree but we accepted pay to put final point in our nightmare. Rent 250 B Deposit 1000 B Pick up motorbike 2000 B Close report 1000 B Total 4250 B for one day rent so if you are thinking to rent by them you should have very careful our recommendation is look in google for the rental which have a reviews and not make they same mistake as us. I stayed there 7 days and 7 nights with my sister. We paid only 4$ each for one night! The service is very nice but they don't speak any English. There is always fresh, cool water for 10Bhat next to the reception and it's not too far from the Night Bazar. Our room had a ventilator and a nice view. The bedware and towels were fresh (there is a laundry right next to the guesthouse) and smelled good. The only thing that bothered me was the shower situation. We shared our bathroom with other people and the shower was not seperated from the rest of the bathroom, which means showering "in the middle" of the room, right next to the toilet. The floor is pretty dirty. ||If you're planning on being out in the city a lot, you don't have much money and anyway won't be staying in your room all day, I think Rohan's guesthouse is perfect. Don't stay there if you don't have to. It is poorly run. There is no one there. If you need staff you have to call and wait. Although friendly, they don't speak English. One key works for all the rooms so you can enter any room if you want. So it is not safe. Many insects like cockroaches. Crawling in my boyfriends face when he was sleeping.
