It was our first visit to Chic Rue Doo and I must say it is a homey and inviting one. We were greeted with smiles and staffs were quick to serve us with ice cold water as soon as we sat. It was much appreciated as we were riding under the scorching sun for quite a while 🥹 Not only that, we were welcomed by their 3 friendly Pomeranians. They’re like the cafe mascots, really cute 🥰
Despite our limited Thai language, the staffs understood us perfectly with a mix of simple English and gestures and served us with great composure. They serve really good coffee and food too. We had their Khao Soi and hands down it is a must if you ever visit Chic Rue Doo.
Overall, ambience is really chill, aesthetics is 100000/100. They have their own community of regulars and neighbors that are like family. So that shows a lot on how the owner and staffs are. They’re down to earth and are really kind. Would totally come visit again if we’re ever in town 😊
Thank you again for the hospitality Jan and team. Hope to see you again soon! Stay well always.

When you arrive you will see some small cute dogs in the garden. They wont bother you if you dont give them attention though. You can either enter the cafe and sit inside or take a seat in the garden. Both options are great and both options feel like home. Relax atmosphere visited by decent people.
Atmosphere gets 10 points out of 10.
About the coffee and food:
I dont even need to use a lot of words. The different choices of coffee are all perfect haha. I had the dark bean iced coffee and my dad had the dark bean hot coffee. From experience I know 1 thing: If the black coffee is amazing, all coffee variations will be amazing.
Second time I visited for lunch and had a khao soi soup with a mango smoothie on the side. I would definetly visit 3 or 4 times a week at least if I lived in Chiang Mai.
Conclusion: I recommend this place 10 out of 10 for breakfast, lunch or a coffeebreak. Just...
