Room is very humid and lots of mosquitoes in the room. If you preferred tranquility, this is not a place for you. But if you are coming with your kids, they can yell all they want at the pool with sits in the center of every room. My room was next to a slider, so you can imagine the extra noises. Beach is long and wide but full of trash every morning, the staff tried to clean up but walking barefoot can pose some risks.
But the worst is Spa. Obviously the 90minutes massage starts counting from the minute you showed up. My first time there, I went in around a few minutes before my booked session. Greetings, filling in the detail, choosing the oil, paying the bill, washing the feet, quick showering, etc. So after 20+minutes of doing all those you only have less just a little over an hour left of actual massage time even though there’s no customer before or after my session.
I went to the spa again on the next day, 10minutes before sessions time, same thing happened again. But worst is that the therapist was having a flu (or is it Covid?). She’s been snorting all over my neck and after a while, excuse herself and went out, presumably to blow her noses. When she came back, I asked her directly if she had flu and she said she has just realized that she did when she came in to work that morning. (my session was 3pm) I reprimanded her that Aromatherapy massage requires close contact with customers as she will be breathing within a foot over customer neck. If she’s well aware that she has flu then she should call in sick for the day. So I waited almost 10 minutes for a new therapist. Again, the session was over sharply at 90minutes mark. My actual massage time was probably around 65 minutes even though I paid for 90minutes of...
Read moreWe took a large group of high school students here for a retreat, and I could not have been more pleased with everything! First of all, before we even arrived at the resort, the staff were incredibly receptive to our questions over the phone, providing us with as much information as we needed. They had a place for us to put our luggage when we arrived in the morning, and even had a large welcome banner greeting us! The resort itself was wonderful. We rented a meeting room out on our first day and it was perfect for group games, a show, and dinner. We were happy to have somewhere to call home base while we waited for our rooms to be ready. Our kids loved the size and freedom they had. They were able to swim in any of the 3 pools or at the beach. The resort is on a tranquil little cove that is calm and relaxing. There is a sand volleyball court set up as well, which we used whenever we could. The rooms were clean, cozy, and very good quality. We slept 3 people to most of our rooms, and all 3 guests fit very comfortably. We were appreciative that the staff separated our boys and girls into 2 different buildings before we even arrived. The breakfast was great, and had every option under the sun! The rest of the meals we had at the resort were fantastic as well. Even our students agreed with this, and that’s never an easy task!! There is a 7/11 just outside of the gate, which we felt very comfortable letting our kids walk to. It was close and readily available for any snacking or sunscreen needs. We are very thankful for such accommodating staff, such a beautiful place to relax, and a wonderful experience at Ravindra. We would definitely like to return in future years! Thanks for a...

Room: Spacious. Large Balcony & bathroom (had rainshower & bathtub). many toiletries & amenities the shampoo bottles were hard and it took time to squeeze the shampoo out. TV: old model. Not HD screen.
Location: perfect. Nice & quite beach. Easy to get around by a private car.
Hotel: low rise. Very nice design. Lots of tree and spacious. Perfect for relaxing. There are 3 large pools! I think they did not have any paid minibar items in the fridge which was fantastic as we did not have to worry about them and there's more fridge space one of the elevators was not working properly. Kinda stuck sometimes. the fresh water taps (for washing feet) near the beach were a bit too low. A bit difficult to use for elder people as you have to bend over & the water didn't drain quick enough.
Breakfast: delicious and great variety of fresh food. Omelete and salad were wonderul both indoor and outdoor areas available. no. Fresh (from beans) coffee machine. Only the instant poweder machine. breakfast hours were too short. I think it was 7-10am
Food: ++ At Rewa restaurant & room service. Perfect. Large quantity. Good quality. They did well for both Thai and Western dishes. ++ we got free Birthday cake!!
Staff: staff at Rewa restaurant, breakfast, spa, and housekeeping were attentive, polite and friendly. staff at Front desk did not smile very much. They were just ok. But Not impressive.
-- they did not serve Welcome drink/snack.
