This guesthouse offers great value especially if you are on an extended visit.|We rented two rooms for a couple of weeks when in Thailand for a family vacation and it was quite affordable.|The rooms are basic but have most things needed and the staff is helpful most of the time.|For longer stays, room cleaning is not daily which is Ok, but at times it felt like it was not quite up to expectations.||A few word of caution:|During our stay we were away from the rooms for a couple of days, keeping most of our belongings in the rooms.|At one point during our absence a local friend stopped by to visit and found the staff having dinner in our room with the aircon running. Since you pay for the electricity when renting by the week or month we found this unacceptable, luckily we had noted down the meter standings when arriving and leaving we could figure out the approximate correct amount and the management was very accommodating and apologetic.|Another thing is the waterbottles, which are free and delivered daily, the empty bottles carries a deposit so if any are lost/broken you will need to pay for these at the end of the stay, this was not clearly stated anywhere and caused some minor irritation at the end of the stay, hopefully they have made this clear to...
Read moreThe hotel was in a-quite-crowded neighbourhood, and the street ... or ‘aisle’ should be a more appropriate word because it’s really cramped, definitely not appropriate for cars to drive around even though they do have a bit of space for parking (4-5 cars). A part from that the hotel looks modern and clean, quite different from its surrounding, so that’s good. The office room where you have to check in might spook you a bit because it’s quite untidy, but the rooms inside the hotel are actually nice and clean, or you can say that it’s sufficient enough. The place is only a 200-meter-walk to the QSNCC Mrt, right across from the QSNCC, very convenient. The price is alright, I’m satisfied. The slightly negative issue is that it’s right next to the aisle where people ride there motorbikes through a lot, so a bit noisy at night, but not for long. And also it’s not just a hotel for a short stay, but they also have monthly rent at the place as well, so there are some families with kids that might bother you a bit if you open your doors just to let some air in, so if you want privacy, close your door. In conclusion — A nice place, clean, nice staff, good price and a very convenient area for traveling and food, will definitely...
Read moreI stayed in different rooms as they messed up my booking. One was extremely moldy and smelled bad (back building) the front building was much cleaner, no mold or bad smell but the door is basically just a window that does not close completely facing the reception and the road. It is really loud for sure as motor bikes pass by 24/7.
In the back building, there were local bar girls staying in the room next door. They came home like 3-5am in the morning every day loud. One of the girls came knocking on my door to go out with them to their bar. Also borrowed some money to help pay the hotel and never paid back. They said they stay there often when they work in the city. So be aware.
Even the rooms are relatively cheap, it's not worth it. The property is open for the public to just walk in as the parking lot between buildings is open to the street.
I came to this place because a hostel I always go to nearby was full. This has been the worst place I ever stayed so far even though I had...
