I've been visiting Yunomori Onsen Sukhumvit for several years, and while I once enjoyed the peaceful onsen experience, it’s become increasingly disappointing. Over the past several months, it feels like this location has been neglected completely compared to their Sathorn and Pattaya branches.
Here are some of the recurring issues I've encountered:
Lack of rule enforcement – Some guests enter the onsen without washing properly, some even scrub their skin while in the pool—all of which are unhygienic. There are no staff monitoring or correcting these behaviors, and no visible signs to educate guests about proper onsen etiquette.
Shower area hygiene – Some patrons bring their own personal products and leave packaging or items behind making the space untidy, and some product clogged drains - causing waste water to rise up and produce unpleasant smell.
General cleanliness – Water residue builds up on shower fixtures and pool surfaces, some showerheads have weak water pressure, and stains are visible on the walls and poolside. Occasionally, I’ve even seen cockroaches near the pool area.
Pool condition – Some pool have broke tiles that's never fixed.
Inconsistent water temperatures – The hot pool is sometimes lukewarm, and the cold pool frequently isn’t cold enough unless staff manually add ice—something that seems to happen regularly.
Steam room condition – The seating area has broken tiles that's never fixed and nothing to cover the broken area. The door doesn’t close properly, allowing outside air in and causing the steam temperature to be unstable and ineffective.
Leaks during rain – Sometimes during heavy rain, water leaks from the ceiling into the onsen area
Makeup area – No staff taking care of personal hygiene items such as combs, hair residue from other guests are all over the place.
I sincerely hope that management will take these issues seriously and invest in a full renovation and better...

[EN] Ultimate guide to try the Onsen (also made for introverts) - women
You arrive, take off your shoes at the entrance, put it it the locker, take the key. Try to find flip flops or ask for it.
On your right, there's the counter, you can chose to go to the Onsen for 500 baht (approx 14 euros) / For the massages and treatment I think you have to book before (check it out there)
You go through the glass door to see a counter on your left where the person will give you a Yukata (bathrobe), a belt and a bag with 2 towels (small - for the onsen / big - for drying after), 1 pantie and 1 bra, I've seen the majority of people with them but of course you can go naked if you prefer.
Go inside, you can find the bathroom on your right. Undress and put your belongings in the locker that have your number (the one on your armband). Take your small towel.
Enter the onsen, go straight to your left, you have to wash yourself with the little showers. They have shapoo, shower gel and conditioner.
Take a look at the wall, there are different "path" you can chose depending on the benefits you're looking for. There are 5 bath, most of them are warm and there is one cold (17°) usually you finish with this one.
Don't forget to take a look outside there's also small bath tubs.
When you're done, shower, dry yourself and go back inside. You will find mirrors with everything to clean your face, dry your hair, hydrate your hair and body.
Put on your Yukata with the belt, go outside and I would recommand to drink some milk on your right. Or to eat something if you want. They will note the number of your armband and ask you to pay at the entrance counter at the end (no need to take your...
