Explorar Koh Phangan - Adults Only Resort (16+) — Hotel in Ko Pha Ngan

We stayed here for four days. August 11- 15 2025 Arnel that time welcomed us, LEK & fanta are also amazing persons. The welcome drinks is great Fresh 🥥 🌴, Thai coconut Rhum & the beautiful Garland made of ivory flower & orchid

The hotel is located near the full moon party happenings. The hotel is newly renovated everything was perfect. The toiletries are at par with 5 star resorts. The water pressure is verry good, the soap, shampoo, body wash & the lotion are in a bottle perfect for saving our mother earth 🌎 & they are amazingly scented👏🤩.

The bar & the fridge all are consumables/complimentary. The best things in life are free.

I appreciate juju for taking care of our room for 4 days everything is perfect towels & hand towels are always fresh & clean.

The breakfast is absolutely amazing Ye, Yahoo, Yok & Aung the rest of the staff are verry friendly. Fruits are cut into desired pieces tasty & fresh. Egg corner is fun & entertaining they help us & bring eggs to the table so no waiting.. Cold coffee & hot ciocolate tastes perfect, but Macha latte is to die for. Thank you for making our coffee & drinks with love ❤️ 😍

The Gym is also well equipped & highly maintained. 4 days we stayed here we only use 1 time. The surrounding beach is a good in walking or exercise. We walked for 2 hours daily. The angkorwat inspired hotel is also good but be careful there are stinging wasp everywhere.

The pool is always clean & tidy. Give fresh towel & free shots daily At the beach. There is 3 wonderful dogs on the property we never heard them barking greeted us when we are at the beach wagging their tails & stretching arms like saying I love you. The also accompanied us walking at the beach at night till 1am. I think they need a raise. There is also a beautiful cat in the garden. I really missed my 20yr old cat who passed away 2 days before my flight ✈️ 😢 I thank him for bring back happy memories I hope he will be in the rainbow 🌈 bridge happily. I know he also misses me al lot.

The location is near a busy street. There is also 7/11 at the front opens 24/7 but there's always problem. The yacult is always out of stock. We'll stocked & verry organized we buy things we don't really need only for curiosity 😉 😀

The garden is well maintained & looking Lush all the time. Bananas, orchids, birds of paradise, lapunaya, birds nest everything. Gave me happiness when we drank our tea. Bonus there are many chirping birds 🐦 🐦‍⬛ 😎

At the front of the property there is also a motorcycle for Rent 250 bath per day. Good for driving around the island.

The beach is dangerous & full of stones, jelly fish & corals 🪸 🪼 Overall our experience exceeds our expectations. Highly Recomended. Thank everyone for making our vacation memorable & treated us as a family. We will be back in this island soon. we will choose this property....

If you are looking for some luxury whilst still feeling that you are gaining an authentic Thailand experience, Explorar Koh Phangan is the place to stay. The location is a perfect place to base yourself on the island. This hotel sits directly on Sunset beach and as the name suggests you get to observe spectacular sunsets whilst chilling in the infinity pool sipping on one of their many amazing cocktails; their staff are well skilled in the art of mixology creating some unique flavour combinations as well as perfecting the “classics”. Be sure to avail of their happy hour where it is “buy one get one free”. The food here is delicious with a mixture of traditional Thai and Mediterranean cuisine. Dishes are fresh and full of flavour. They also have an outdoor pizza oven where they prepare and cook freshly made pizzas which can be enjoyed poolside. The staff are caring and friendly, always greeting you with a smile. They go above and beyond to ensure you have the most enjoyable stay. A special thank you to Sofia for being so helpful and accommodating in providing us with local recommendations, including a wonderful hike to the most beautiful beach (Haad Yuan) I have been to. I was very happy to see they had a full equipped hotel gym! There were also paddle boards/canoes which are free to use. A highlight for me was watching the sunset from a canoe, it was so peaceful and serene. The hotel has an App which can be downloaded to your phone - this is a really useful way to link in with reception via direct messages. It also provides you with information on various hotel activities and trips that can be arranged through the hotel. We were lucky enough to be staying during one of their wonderful beach barbecue buffets; entertainment was provided in the form of a fire show/traditional Thai dancing. We decided to try to up-skill in our cooking ability’s and booked a Thai cooking class within the hotel. We were able to choose some of our favourite Thai dishes to recreate - I can’t wait to make some Tom Yuk soup, Phad Thai and Papaya salad for by family/friends. We really did love our time at this hotel and would definitely recommend this to anymore looking for an adults only resort where there are good vibes and lots on offer to cater...

Amazing Stay at Explorar Resort Koh Phangan

My experience at Explorar Resort Koh Phangan was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by incredibly friendly staff who always had a smile on their faces and were more than willing to help with anything we needed. Grace and Tamk in particular, made us feel so welcomed throughout our stay.

The resort boasts the best infinity pool in Koh Phangan, right on the beach. The pool area, complete with fun duck floaters, was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the breathtaking sunsets. This adults-only policy ensured a peaceful and serene environment, which was exactly what we were looking for.

Food at Explorar is another highlight. The restaurant offers an amazing variety of authentic Mediterranean food and pizza, as well as delicious traditional Thai dishes. The French chef and his team are truly rockstars. We especially loved the pizzas cooked in their special pizza oven and the complimentary breakfasts, which were some of the best we've ever had.

Our Seaview suite was spacious, comfortable, and surrounded by beautiful greenery that made us feel like we were in a jungle retreat. The room had excellent WiFi, which was great for our needs. The resort also features a well-equipped gym and a co-working space, making it an ideal spot for digital nomads.

We indulged in some unique experiences like a private hike to a viewpoint, with our amazing guide Tamk! The bar's mixology skills were top-notch, and we enjoyed many delicious drinks while soaking in the hot weather.

Overall, the combination of the laid-back atmosphere and high-quality service made Explorar our favorite hotel in Koh Phangan.
