Oh no... Such a shame... It looked promising due to the number of people eating here... It must have slipped my mind that I had been informed there are no good restraunts in hat rin and especially around full moon week. We were greeted with a smile and shown to our table. Drinks served quickly and orders taken. 1 beef massaman and one prawn penang... So far so good... And then they arrived... Now don't get me wrong, they were flavoursome, as all thai cuisine is... However My massaman lacked the distinctive nutty element that sets it appartment from other curries... And then the penang... The waitress says the owner is from Ayutthaya and knows his food. She even recommended a dish that isn't even on the menu which was crispy pork and garlic. It was so good we tried to go back the afternoon we were leaving but they were closed that day. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great quality food at...
Read moreFood was good considering they have literally any food you can think of. They did forget a couple items that my party ordered and our drinks came out after we’d finished our food. It wasn’t busy but the music made up for it by being just loud enough to make a conversation hard to enjoy. They also messed up the final price of our meal and almost over charged us but fixed it once we said something. Altogether, way too expensive of food to make up for the downsides—good mango...
