Replay Pool Villa — Hotel in Ko Samui

My last night I received a pillow with a purple stain on the corner (I think ink). I put the pillow at the foot of my bed and didn’t think much of it but on checkout I was told I would be charged for the pillow. I explained I received it as is, the receptionist said she would check with the housekeeper but they just had a bit of a laugh on the phone before she re-iterated I would still be charged for the pillow. I found this a bit odd, as i would assume the pillow case would just be washed alongside the rest of the bedding if i had dirtied it and you would only be able to ascertain the stain can’t be removed only after..trying to remove it. I wouldn’t usually leave a negative review but once I checked other reviews I realised this looks like something this establishment does because other guests have had similar experiences of random charges on checkout that don’t really make sense…so i...

Pros: Lovely studio apartments if you’re looking for self catering. Location is good, close to fisherman’s village and in a quieter area, bit of a drive to main areas so a bike would be best, but luckily that’s what we wanted. Staff were friendly, housekeeping could have been a little bit more attentive as a few things were missed regularly but nothing major. Onsite washing facilities is great, gym was good with new equipment and clean area (maybe needs an air con machine inside the gym as it gets very hot).

Cons: Small swimming pool onsite but you have the use of the pool across the road in the replay residences. I didn’t like that the need for a deposit wasn’t mentioned until we arrived. This should be clearly stated before and...

im Großen und Ganzen ist es echt gut gewesen. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und sauber und hatte eigentlich alles was man bräuchte, war nur etwas leer aufgrund der Größe. Wäre da z.B eine Badewanne drinnen oder ähnliches, wären es aufjedenfall 5 Sterne. Der Service war gut, der Mann bei der Rezeption hat uns seine Nummer für Fragen u.Ä. gegeben und war immer erreichbar. Bei uns gab es nur kleine Komplikationen beim Check-In und wir mussten länger warten; war jedoch nicht weiter schlimm. Unten konnte man Wäsche waschen und trocknen für 50 Baht + 10 Baht für Waschmittel. Der Pool war klein aber immer leer, daher eigentlich gut. Man konnte auch ins gegenüberliegende Replay für den großen Pool. Der Strand war leider nicht sehr schön, aber mit einem Roller kann man auf andere Strände fahren.
