The Deck Beach Club — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

The deck beach club is very beautiful. I love how they decorate the place with warm and fun vibe. The foods are good in average portions. The price is acceptable compared how beauitful atmosphere in the beach club specially when it is in evening with beautiful sunset sky and not many people. But just a small problem, everytime i go there i have never seen anyone greeting us instead ignoring until i need to call while we are just standing waiting and need to call waiter walking pass us without looking. The waitresses are nice. They speak nicely and good english but the men make us not so comfortable. The way the waiter like to talk to us make us feeling unwelcome. Sometime when i talk something. They don't listen. They ignore and try to push us to do what they want us to do instead listening to us and explain. Cut off this problem, i enjoy the view and the fun vibe at the deck beach club very much and will go back for sure, so i give 5 starts one of the most beautiful beach club you must visit in Samui !! Good time to visit 4 pm. And Stay until sunset it is...

Been twice this year to this great beach club. Solo in march and with a group of 6 Friends in august. A must visit anytime i travel in Koh Samui. Compared to the other beach clubs this was stands out by its chill attitude guarded by a very friendly and efficient staff and the présence of the Lovely owners French couple. The music is great and not heavy sounded allowing to spend a great day having conversations with your Friends, the staff and the other guests. The menu offers a large choix of exsuisite plate or snacks. Sunbeds ara available with a minimum 2000 batte spent during the day. Sofas available with 1000baths minimum spent which i think a a really good Price/quality rate for a mémorable experience. Last but not least the View is Just stunning offering an amazing sunset together with its foreworks of tones and lights. Will definitely come back during my next stay. Dont Forget to book in advance to secure your spot ! I did it through the Deck Instagram DM chat. The owner is very responsive and Will do gis best to accommodate...

Oddest experience

Tables were the wrong too high height with a wooden bar at the front on two sides leaving no foot room..... paired with low quality deck chairs. It made for an uncomfortable experience.

Meals were tiny and more expensive than lesser fare we've eaten in Europe.

One of our meals was misdescribed as lamb "chucks". Our chef... apparently a Michelin 1 star chef, was unaware of the typo on his menu.. and confirmed they were chops. We were served a shank.

The fish of the day was barracuda... not a fish I'd ever risk eating.

The whole time we ate.. an "influencer" was getting in and out of the pool to make videos of herself "posing in paradise".

It was somehow apt someone of little substance was over representing their experience in a place that similarly overpromised.

Look. Good for you if you are trying to offer a michellin quality european style restaurant in Ko Samui.

But if you offer it... please deliver it.

The wine was good. The service was attentive But the experience was less overall...
