The WORST experience in Thailand ( it was our 5th time in the country) and very overpriced!
The hotel seems to be abandoned, room was very old , the aircon stopped in the first night , no light in the path to go to room ( a lot stairs), the worst beach in the island , not good for swimming, the only advantage is been close to the pier.
Service could not be worse :
they booked our ferry from ko samui and misguided us and sent to wrong pier , costing 400thb and almost lost the last ferry to ko tao . Arriving the hotel , let them know what happened they never apologized , and said they are not aware about the pier and boats , but they offered the service and gave wrong information 😏 asked to fixed the aircon to the staff at the restaurant since the room does not have phone , and reception was far from the room and restaurant and they answered they were busy ! Aircon was not fixed until I went to reception in the afternoon no pool service , we need to go to restaurant which is far to make orders in the pool , even thought there is a space for pool bar , but not working breakfast was really bad , limited options ! They charge chocolate milk and does not offer the powder to put in the milk for kids . I’m the previous reviews someone said they offer eggs Benedict , no at all ! staff overall was so bad mood ! I asked they to book my ferry , they were about to go home at 5:45pm, gave the wrong information the ferry company was closed ( I went there and they only closed at 8pm). Next day I asked about my booking and they again said the office would open at 9 ( wrong again) and they did not book even though the ferry would leave at 9:30am and they were not willing to solve the problem they caused.
I paid the same price per night in Meliá Ko Samui , for 5star experience !
If I were you I would AVOID this hotel experience! For the same price you would get much better options in the island ! I was misguided by the good reviews here and the old pictures they have in their website ( must be from 10 years ago )! I really regret...
Read moreThe reason for our trip was for our honeymoon, unfortunately, after a HORRIFIC ferry ride (traveling in the middle of a storm and over 30 people vomiting at the same time).
My wife, who suffers from a herniated disc, had a lot of complications getting to the hotel, as she has a hard time going up and down stairs and the hotel is full of stairs....
The bed is the same as lying on the floor, the hotel does not have thick curtains, so at night the light does not stop coming in and to top it off, a party outside the hotel did not let us sleep until 4 in the morning.
Thanks to all these problems, we had no choice but to cancel our trip, so we had to leave after 1 night of staying at this hotel.
We told the hotel staff that due to safety and health issues, it would not be possible for us to continue with our stay, so they told us that if we wanted to cancel our reservation, it would have to be directly with booking, so we contacted customer service, who assured us that we would get back a part of our money which we could not afford to waste, finally after 5 days of not knowing anything about this hotel, the hotel told us that they would not give us any refund, even when the stay in their facilities aggravated the health situation of my wife.
While the front desk staff was super nice to us, the person who runs this hotel and the person responsible for handling reservations has no compassion whatsoever. Of the 4 nights we booked, we only “slept” 1, and the hotel kept taking into account our reservation as if we were taking advantage of the facilities while we were living a real hell.
We were so desperate to leave that we didn't even want to eat the...
Read moreOur stay at Sensi was perfect from start to finish. We were met at the pier and taken to the resort to be welcomed with an ice towel and cold drink. Immediately, we felt welcomed and at home. Our 'tree house' was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. They supplied shower gel, shampoo and body lotion, dressing gowns and slippers, along with fresh towels daily, beach/pool towels and sarongs. Our veranda was spacious, complete with comfortable furniture, fridge and tea/coffee station. I loved waking early and sitting out there listening to all and watching all of the wildlife. If you have mobility issues, definitely ask for a bungalow close to the beach as some of the paths are steep.
The staff were some of the kindest people I have ever met. They work incredibly hard and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options and a beautiful view of the beach. The restaurant food was fantastic too. The pools were perfect and very much needed to cool down!
We loved the location, close to everything you could want, yet far enough away to not be disturbed by noise.
We booked a private longboat through Sensi and snorkelled around the island. Our captain was JoJo. He is the sweetest man with an excellent sense of humour; interacting with us, taking photos for us when we were in the water and teaching us about the fish and island. We laughed all day and the views and snorkeling were breathtaking. Thank you JoJo!
I don't have anything negative to say about this resort. It truly was perfect for us and I missed it when we moved on. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Thank you for making our stay such a...
