I had the misfortune to visit this place for a meal with friends while holidaying quite recently. It was my best friend from high school - Clark’s - wedding the next day, and as Best Man, I figured I’d take him and my fellow groomsmen to have a bit of authentic Italian pizza because we were peckish early on in the afternoon. When we got there, we were promptly ignored for the first ten minutes or so while your staff were busy serving other orders (or maybe they just didn’t like the look of us because Clark has dyed blonde hair and wears aviator sunglasses). Eventually we were served by a fairly attractive man who was very rude to us - didn’t ask us how we were or anything and we wanted to tell him all about Clark and Lucy and their love story but we never got the chance. It was a boiling hot day when we visited, and so I’d been keeping my water bottle close to sip on and occasionally just wet the back of my neck with, but I was told I couldn’t have it in the establishment? Why not? I was perfectly happy to buy another drink to make up for having brought it in (I needed some hard alcohol because I was already getting stressed at that point) but your colleague INSISTED I get rid of the bottle. Why??
We wanted to just grab a quick tasty pizza and kick off the bachelor party right (you know, send our boy off to married life in style) but when we eventually received our orders (individual small pizzas for each of us, which was far more costly than just getting two huge ones to share), they were all wrong. Wrong toppings, wrong cheeses, wrong everything. Wrong! Just wrong! Wrong! We almost thought about dipping early and dodging the bill because of such poor service and because we were kind of in a rush, but then our friend Tommy (who got incredibly drunk later on in the night) spoke up and said we’d better pay it. Boring!
Don’t come here. Eat sand instead - you’ll have a better time of...
Read moreI was craving for some Italian food and especially carbonara. Now I know it's stupid to go to an Italian restaurant in Thailand, but the owner seemed Italian so I had good expectations. My carbonara was terrible, sorry to say. Not enough cheese and not the right cheese. The egg was scrambled which is the biggest mistake you can make with a carbonara. Then there was not enough seasoning(pepper). And the pig meat was not correct type of meat and just regular bacon cut into ugly pieces. A disgrace to real carbonara from Italy, but we are in Thailand so it was stupid to expect something good. The service was fine not bad not special, but okay. Maybe of you really want Italian food in Koh Tao try something else, but definitely not the carbonara. One more thing, the menu prices were normal for western food inside Thailand, but 250 bath for the worst not even real carbonara was such a waste...

We found this restaurant on-line with fiew nice reviews so we expected good dinner.
The minute we parked our scooter, owner went out and and said that we can not park on his property…. He change his attitude a little when we informed him we would like to be coustumers. ( this was the moment we should have turned around )
We paid 630 Bahts for two drinks and two plates of BBQ Chicken. Food was worth maybe 200 Bahts. Two small pieces of meat and couple fries.
After 10 minutes with empty table we went to get check. Owner didnt gave us our change right. ( we realized few minutes later because Back then i still had little respect for owner and did not count change in front of him…30Bath short…)
In conclusion: terrible owners attitude overpriced low quality food quasi Italian...
