N&D Pool Villa — Hotel in Krabi Province

N&D Pool Villa is one of the best beach town villas I've been to in the region, and especially with young kids in tow. Although this map pin is for Villa 4, we were allocated Villa 2 - so my review below is for Villa 2.

Rooms are very well equipped and well maintained, and if you have young kids, you'd know why these points listed below are much appreciated.

Extremely clean - not even a speck of dust on hidden areas or at the outdoor cabana. It's 1000x cleaner than my own flat haha. I get why another reviewer said he could eat off the floors. The ladies will offer to clean every 2/3 days if you need them to.

No itchy nose from the many air-cons (they even have one in the living room) and a good size fan in the living room for those of us who dislike air-con.

Larger than King size beds in two bedrooms - one bed is able to accommodate two toddlers and two adults (the con is that, there goes romantic couple time since the kids will argue they can sleep with you.)

Plugs located near your bedsides, and duo warm light bedside night lamps (perfect for night feeds or afternoon naps.)

Blackout curtains so afternoon naps can be taken.

Good size pool, with a baby pool section sectioned off. Our 5yo willingly stayed in it when we had to get up to grab something indoors quickly. Not heavily chlorinated but well maintained and clean, so the toddler and infant enjoyed time inside without skin issues. A huge float and a large parasol were provided. Pool water was never cold either and always is refreshing and non-murky.

Many hooks in the bathrooms and drying racks in all rooms, including a huge outdoor drying rack in the back porch near the functional washing machine. Really handy with wet swimsuits and so on.

Bathroom showerhead is NOT a rain shower, meaning it's super convenient to use. If you have toddlers, IKYK. Temperature and strength of water are very consistent, which is rare if you have been to other hotels/AirBnBs in Thailand.

Bathroom sinks are good size and have built-in plugs, so it's easy to rinse your kids' swimsuits or handwash clothes. Toilet bowls are soft close with bidets.

Good large size towels, hand towels and face towels. Fluffy, soft and felt really clean. Also provided many floor mats which is essential for a place with a pool.

Good size fridge - not a bar fridge. Also full kitchen amenities like rice cooker, toaster, two ring stoves, pots, cooking utensils and cutlery and good size dining table. You can just order GrabFood and enjoy it well.

High speed internet, and functional TV where you can watch Netflix, YouTube and so on. The best part is, you can lounge on the sofa while still watching the kiddos in the pool. Doors are also lockable so the kids can't access the pool without supervision.

A Thai style beach mat, extra pillows, and even safes were provided.

Good size outdoor parking lot outside Villa 2, so we needn't squeeze the rented car in the porch every day.

Close by many amenities including two supermarkets (Lotus and Makro; which carry key baby household, alcohol & food essentials). One huge 7-11 with lotsa snacks, drinks, basic home and travel essentials like body wash and souvenirs. A local market to get your local fruits, Roti and snacks opens Mon, Wed & Sat.

Walking distance to many other Ao Nang beach amenities (like massages, good coffee, brunch cafes) as well even if you don't drive. Heading out or ordering GrabFood every day was a breeze.

Also close to Wat Phu Khao Phra Maha Phothisat, a Buddha sitting on top of long steps. Great viewpoint of Krabi and an enjoyable climb. Neighbourhood felt safe and I was able to walk home after an 11pm massage session.

If you are looking for a longer term stay, I would also say N&D Pool Villa is perfect for that. We hope to...

I had a super lovely stay there on my recent trip to Ao Nang this year. It was my second time staying here and I was extremely delighted to see how much their rooms and service have improved since the previous time I was there almost 2 years ago. It really goes to show how much love and care the owners have invested in making this -- in my opinion -- the best place to stay in Ao Nang.

They even have a newly built bar near the reception which is perfect for the last round of drinks before bed (and you dont have to drive home drunk... just stumble XD)

The villas speak for themselves and (for once) the pictures actually reflect the quality of the place. Its not too far from the beach and the main walking street, but also far enough to avoid the drone of sweaty tourists especially in high season. This was without a doubt my favorite place to stay in my whole trip and when im back in Krabi I will definitely choose this...

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Villa with a private pool in Aonang. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, providing everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The location was ideal, just a short walk from shops and the Aonang Fresh Food Market, making it very convenient for us.

There was also scooter rental service offered by the host. The scooter was in excellent condition and allowed us to easily reach the beautiful beaches in the area. It was incredibly convenient and added a lot of value to our trip.

The host was very friendly and accommodating, always available to answer our questions and provide recommendations. We felt very welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay.
