Yamyen The Resto Park Halalfood Aonang — Restaurant in Krabi Province

This is a restaurant with good food, a comfortable atmosphere, but shockingly bad and unprofessional service/waiting staff. When they forgot to bring one of our meals, there was no apology and dishes were just dumped (literally) at one end of our table, rather then presented to the person ordering that dish.....their indifference and insolence was bordering on open rudeness.

My wife and I are Moslem, so, naturally, we choose to eat at Halal restaurants. That said, we are WHITE (European) Moslem (but living locally, in Ao Nang) and we noticed that Malay Moslem were getting a VERY much better and faster service than we were getting.....are the staff judging their clientele by the colour of their skin..????.....giving preferential treatment to Malay/Thai Moslem.......remember we are ALL brothers and sisters.

This place has good food, but the staff is displaying an openly racist attitude......not appropriate for employees in the food/customer service industries. If they don't like their job or don't like to serve WHITE (Moslem) clients, then either don't work there or make it...

I ordered pasta with pesto sauce and salmon at lunch. Unfortunately it was not good. Food barely warm and i did not taste any pesto. As someone who consumed pesto regularly I can tell you there is almost no pesto in there and menu doesn’t say there is cream so to my surprise this is what I got. It’s not even green. I tried talking to the staff and unfortunately they did not understand what I was saying because they don’t speak English at all. The salmon had a lot of bones so was very annoying to eat, I ended up not eating it. There were also peas in there that were not cooked. the cafe has the most aesthetic interiors, the food is just amazing. the owner is the most polite and hardworking guy ever. the food you order, it comes exactly the same way as shown in the menus, the restaurant is very genuinely priced, not at all expensive. i wish i would be staying here for more time so that i could visit it once again. i i ever visit ao nang again, i will only eat from this place, daily. i would recommend this to all people, including children and old people.
