Pinthong Aonang Villa — Hotel in Krabi Province

When we booked our trip to Thailand, we set up Pinthong Aonang Villa in Krabi as our last destination, and I was a bit worried, because our first stop was in Phukett, where we had a villa with a private pool for each villa, and we thought it would taint the rest of the trip, because the other places we had booked would not be as nice, and therefore we would be disappointed with the rest of our hotels. However, that was not the case. Pinthong Villa was actually our favorite place to stay, and although the villas are very nice, and the kids loved the pool, the main reason was the staff! The hostess was SUPERB!!! Best customer care I have ever had from a hotel. She always seemed concerned with us, making sure our stay was perfect. All of our activities were done through her, and she saved us a TON of money on our tours, and we didn't even have to barter. We would pick the tour we wanted to do from the rack of brochures, she would call up the company, and do the negotiating for us, and then give us a price, which was always way better than we expected. As an example, the last day, we wanted to do an elephant trek for 5 people (3 adults, 2 kids). The price on the brochure was 1200 baht for adult, and 800 baht for kids. She got it for us for 500 baht per person... over 1/2 off. The location was nice, as well, because it is a little bit off the beaten path, which we were a little bit hesitant about, since we did not want to rent a car, and we couldn't do mopeds with 3 kids under 15yrs old, but it was quiet and calm, plus they have a tuk tuk and a rickshaw, and they would drop us off at the beach (middle of the city, and was only about 5 or 7 minutes away), and every time we told them what time to pick us up, they were always very punctual, within a couple of minutes to pick us up, so no extensive waiting. I will DEFINITELY be staying there again next time we go...

7 nights spent in Pinthong Aonang Villa. - Just enjoyed it every day. If I could award 10 stars, I would do it.

First of all, all the staff in the area is so friendly and pleasant, it feels like being in a family.

We had a nice, very large bungalow right by the pool. The bungalow is very well equipped, small kitchen with large fridge, microwave, induction plate, kettle and dishes. Have used the kitchen only for breakfast. 2 bedrooms, large bathroom, everything was great.

Daily cleaning, everything was perfectly clean, even the pool is cleaned every morning.

WLAN works great and is free.

The bungalow has a menu, from which you can order from breakfast to dinner at any time. There are also in 2 minutes (on foot) a few very good Thai restaurants with Thai food and European cuisine.

We also rented a 125 cc scooter from the hotel, cheap and convenient. There is also a free shuttle service to Aonang. Excursions can also be booked at the reception. Spent 7 nights at Pinthong Aonang Villa. - Just enjoyed it every day. If I could award 10 stars, I would do it.

Wonderful Stay at PinThong Villa – Exceptional Hospitality!

We had an amazing experience staying at PinThong Villa in Aonang, Krabi. The highlight of our stay was without a doubt the incredible hospitality from Tam and May, the lovely mother-daughter duo who run the place. They went above and beyond to make our trip comfortable and memorable.

They arranged very affordable rides for us wherever we wanted to go and had great contacts for all kinds of tours at discounted rates. From scooter rentals to laundry service, everything was conveniently available on-site.

May was especially fantastic — always cheerful, helpful, and full of energy. She would patiently answer all our questions about tours even as late as 11:50 PM, always with a big smile on her face. She even helped us book tours at that hour, and her sense of humor made the experience even better.

The villas were spacious and clean, the pools were lovely, and the surrounding scenery was peaceful and beautiful. Tam and May were also incredibly helpful in suggesting and helping us plan our evening outings, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Another plus — everyone in the area knows about PinThong Villa! Whether it was a tuk tuk or a Grab (Uber) driver, we just had to say the name and they knew exactly where to take us. So convenient!
