I've been in Thailand for a little over a month now, and one thing I've learned is that money can buy you anything here.
That is something to remember. There is no loyalty, it's not customer service, it's who can pay up.
Everytime I left my room I would return to find it smelled like the underside of a strippers change room. The pervasive smell of dirty vagina would permeate the air. It was disgusting.
There were signs of forced entry to my room which I have attached to this review. Always check your back balcony sliding door. They're very easy to lift up and out here. Literally anyone can access your room and possessions.
They said they only offer room cleaning once a week. I've noticed with other guests, their rooms are cleaned daily.
The 24 hour restaurant downstairs serves bad food. They will also put anything in your order for the right price. The staff are very obvious about it, laughing and celebrating by the kitchen.
You get what you pay for. I'd recommend take your money pay a little extra and go somewhere else. Whoever owns this establishment isn't in this business to provide quality hospitality. The money from this region doesn't come from...
Read moreI stayed at this hotel with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was far from what I had hoped for.
First, the room was not as advertised. It was much smaller than the photos suggested, and the cleanliness left a lot to be desired and there were some strange smells in the bathroom. I immediately called the front desk to report the issues, but the staff seemed indifferent and did not offer to move me to another room or address my concerns in any meaningful way.
The service was another letdown. The staff was unhelpful and not very friendly, which made me feel like my concerns didn’t matter.
Overall, the stay didn’t justify the price I paid, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are definitely better options available nearby.
I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, I had a very frustrating experience due to ongoing water supply issues. Throughout my stay, the water pressure was incredibly low, making it nearly impossible to take a proper shower.

Read moreImpressive Improvement Much Better Than My Last Stay! I stayed at Talya Patong Hotel once before and, to be honest, I wasn't fully satisfied back then. However, this time around, I was pleasantly surprised by how much the hotel has improved. It’s clear that they’ve made real efforts to upgrade their facilities and overall service.
The room was clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The Wi-Fi was fast, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and little touches like better lighting and improved bathroom amenities really stood out.
The biggest change, though, was the staff — they were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. It felt like they truly cared about guest satisfaction, which made a big difference.
The location, as always, is excellent — just a short walk to Jungceylon Mall, Patong Beach, and local markets. I’m honestly much happier this time, and I’ll definitely be recommending Talya Patong Hotel to friends and family now. Keep up...
