I had an amazing meal at BAAN PAD THAI. I started with chicken satay as an appetizer, followed by shrimp Pad Thai, and ended with a delicious banana dessert with honey and chocolate. Every bite was full of flavor, and the food felt both comforting and authentic.

What made the experience even better was the personal touch. I asked if I could take a peek in the kitchen while the Pad Thai was being prepared, and they kindly said yes! It was really cool to see how it was made, and I also had a great conversation while watching. Found this authentic Thai place on the side of the road and was greeted by a very nice lady. I sat by the kitchen near a fan and ordered 2 dishes.

The smoke and all the amazing aromas that came from the wok started coming out of the kitchen as she began cooking. She brought the food to my table piping hot. Im assuming this is authentic Thai food.

I could taste the smoke from the wok along with all the herbs and spices she used. Delicious food with amazing flavor, cheap prices, and great service. I will come back to try some other things...

Pa Tong is not the nicest part of Phuket, so I was happy I found this restaurant to compensate for the poor food scene in the area. I have nothing but praise for this local eatery run by a mother and daughter duo! With affordable prices and generous portions, dining here is always a great choice.
