My recent stay at Pattaya Park Beach Resort left me with a mixed bag of impressions, as the resort boasts some notable strengths but also has areas that could benefit from enhancement.

Review of attending an academic camp at Pattaya Park Beach Resort Hotel. Departure at 5:30 a.m. and visit the 3D Painting Museum. Then take pictures to keep as a souvenir of the accommodation. At noon the teacher called a meeting to open the academic camp ceremony. The pictures were taken with the teachers. After the study director was finished, he handed out the keys to the room. for all students to enter their rooms and prepare to do activities together with the teacher. This place probably looked great in the 80's or 90's but is very dated now. The tower activities are cheap 400 baht per person. Frankly they are dangerous. From the uk they would never ever pass health and safety in fact health and safety is non existent. The lady at the bottom said there are no weight limit for the double cable ride at the top it states 100kg. The two people at the top just laughed and said go on. On the tandem ride it is a waist height cage with a bar that locks behind the rider what made it dangerous is that the rider has to step off of the tower on to the little cage which would only allow a small person in. I repeat and i am not exaggerating if that cage tips you will fall. The two safety men who looked like homeless people just laughed. The eight man cage is filled with rust. You also have to sign a waiver before they will let you ride that if you die they are not responsible, they will not let you ride without this. There are a lot of cockroaches at the top so be careful what you eat. There are also a lot of cockroaches throughout the bottom by the river pool. I have to say the people in the restaurant at the bottom swimming area were very friendly and good at explaining. Also the water park although very tired is only 100 bhatt for day visit.
