Stayed for 3 consecutive nights at the Mixed Dorm after the New Year countdown at Pattaya.
A relatively new hostel that allows check-in before noon and located along Third Road (aka Korean Town), opposite Shambhala Hotel and beside 1% Barber Shop.
First impression was the sleek facade and spacious lobby and the friendly receptionist Kanya.
Dorms on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors and classified as female, male and mixed. Lockers are provided to store valuables. There are standalone shower cubicles and toilets. Balconies allow for handwashed laundry to dry in the powerful Pattaya sunshine. The ground level has a pantry with warm/normal/cold water dispenser and basic coffee/tea satchets.
It is within walking distance to Big C Extra, equipped with a supermarket and food court. There is a sauna joint along the same road which charges 250 baht per day. Vietnamese-style barber shops with Thai therapists are also available. During the weekend, Thepprasit night market is also available for eating and entertainment.
Room for improvement include: spring mattress which could feel the metallic springs and lack of lift access for those with bulky suitcases. It could also be dark in the dorm if you return after midnight and rely on corridor lighting. It's not so near to the Pattaya Beach or Second Road where the bars are located but the hostel provides lockable...
Read moreI had a very great experience here. If we compare with other hostels this one is the best choice. As an Indian, I see a huge difference here between Indian hostels and Pattaya hostels. With my experience, Indian and Pattaya hostel room cost almost safe if you book Pattaya hostel online. And, you see the rooms are pretty big in pattaya, and bed size of bunk beds are large and very spacious for 6 feet guy like me. They have a different sections for sleeping and bathroom and a different section for locker which is a sign of good architecture. They have 4 different sections for bathing with geysers installed. 3 for toilets only and 3 sinks differently with 2 hairdryers already present. I never felt congestion while living here. They have almost everything needed for one to stay decently. They have separate dormitories for male and female, and their bathrooms are also separated. They provide coffee, towels and bicycles all included in booking bill (no extra charge). Beer is also available with a fair price. I had a wonderful esp with my stay. Their staff is very friendly and the owner of the place is very easy to approach and super friendly. Owner stays at the property only. Best experience. I recommend you should come and stay here. Tourist from different countries come...

Close to many restaurants and about 15min walk to beach3. Shower water was very hot 4. Air conditioning system was on all day despite a sign saying that it's only on between hours of 4pm-midnightCONS1. Found a lash stuck to the ladder on my bed frame which disgusted me2. Also found 2 long black hairs in my bed which made me think that the sheets weren't changed 3. Bathroom has a lot of spider webs and spiders which I feel like could easily be cleaned4. They DO require a deposit of 200 baht despite online saying that no deposit is required Overall, this is a good hostel and I would prob stay here again despite the small cons...
