PEK house — Hotel in Ratsada

Highly disappointing experience, room that smelled like mold due to the absence of external windows, the only blind window present is located on an internal corridor. Bed linen included only the lower corner linen and to cover a one square meter blue towel sheet. Not having windows to have air exchange, I was forced to turn on the air conditioner, and it was impossible to sleep with the air conditioner that throws the air on you without having a sheet of cover. I asked the managers for an extra sheet and I was denied telling me that "they do not use them". Bathroom also without windows and without a ventilation ventilator, shower installed above the toilet, if you did shower you could not use the toilet because it remained wet and there was nothing available to dry it. I have not had such a bad experience, even in the worst $ 5 hostel. NEVER AGAIN!!

If you're looking for a comfortable simple room at a reasonable price in a quiet area then this accommodation is perfect.

Located in a quiet side street near the hospital this guesthouse offers clean simple rooms.

My room had AC, ceiling fan and a fridge, however I believe not all rooms do so check first.

The bed was comfortable with a blanket.

Shower had good pressure and was hot which is always nice after travelling.

The are food stalls located within a short walk by the hospital.

The host was very welcoming and arranged my airport transfer.

For me it was a very enjoyable relaxing...

We picked this place after reading the reviews & corresponding responses from the proprietor (mostly regarding the less than favorable reviews). We were laughing so hard to the responses, we said 'we have to stay here & meet these people! They respond just like we would have!'. Really - this is THE reason we chose PEK house over the competition & they are great people. It's a very small business & they are trying to serve travelers with an affordable option.
