Very old and dated hotel. our first impression when walking into the room the first time is the smell urgghgghh disgusting like a place where local prostitutes would hang out lol. room size is decent but not hygenic as i found old pair of socks next to the fridge. pillows have hairs on it! no coffee or tea. and the worst no iron! what kind of hotel has no iron?? even when requested front office says they don't even have it! what??! the bed is on the firm side and not comfy. same goes with the pillows. maybe this hotel was decent back in the days but too bad the management didn't care about making it better and renovate since hatyai is the go to for Malaysians albeit i myself prefer Bangkok as there are more things and places to do. my advice if you're looking for a place to stay in hatyai, please skip this place and spend a bit more and stay at a better place for peace of mind. we regretted our stay here and went looking for other hotels especially Centara but sold out....

Pros: • The staff provided friendly and polite service, which was a small positive in an otherwise...

The concierge guy will help u with anything u want, from info to even getting u extra's. Very near to shopping, out from the hotel turn left, about half a km u'll find the shopping for a mile plus. Get a map from the concierge guy & pin point Kosit Hotel, keep central point & take walk around Hatyai.
