The Second Hatyai — Restaurant in Songkhla Province

It was New Year's Eve and we were looking for somewhere for our afternoon lunch and came across this establishment which is open and rated pretty good in Google review.

We ordered the spaghetti carbonara and salmon spaghetti as mains and with truffle cheese fries mayo as a side dish, I took the dip to try something new and ordered a maple syrup tea with peach drink

The maple syrup tea with peach was abit on the sweet side and they can definitely tone down on the maple syrup to balance out the overpowering taste of maple as I cannot taste the tea and peach in it.

By the way, for all Muslim customers, no they are non Halal certified for your information.

As I have someone asked me about it in Google

The carbonara is highly recommend and so is the pan friend salmon with spaghetti.

Over experience is good, only let down is their Aircon is kinda stuffy and non existent, and make us wanna quickly finish the meal and get out of there place.

Had their signature toast, Mary meet me and seabass rissoto

The toast is flavorfully packed and has a very nice bite. It isn't too big but if you are like me, traveling alone. Might be quite filling depending on what's your main dish.

Their rissoto is fantastic, with the cheese slightly seered on to the rice plus with topping of cheese. Perfection. Would like the seabass skin abit more crispier but nevertheless, still good and fresh.

Make sure to stir the Mary meet me well before drinking else it will be sweet. After mixing it well, the taste transforms and it is definitely a drink worth having on...

Omg so good. Have a collection of delicious creative drinks caffeinated, alcoholic, or none of the above. All the food looked delicious and I can personally attest to the amazing ricotta salad and polar drink. The atmosphere was light and artisanal with beautiful high ceilings and floral accents. The staff was friendly and always available. Price is more than street food but still cheap and worth every penny....
