Really good, home-cooked Thai comfort food

A little off the beaten path but well worth it if you’re looking for “the real thing.” Lom works magic the kitchen and Fon takes care of the customers like her own family— they are lovely people who care about quality food. We ate there every dinner for three days and everything we ordered was delicious. The standout menu item is Fon’s fish cakes (Tod man plaa ทอดมันปลา)— not usually my favorite appetizer but these are a closely guarded family recipe and by far the best I have had in 6 years living in Thailand... อร่อยที่สุด! Classic Thai Food served in a rustic Thai atmosphere.

Menu has great selection of traditional thai dishes. Every dish was prepared well- fresh ingredients and good flavor. The food was prepared quickly and the serving sizes are larger than most places. The prices are less than most nearby hotels and resorts.

Well decorated Thai-style dining area with large wooden tables and chairs. plenty of seating, and is a great place for groups and families. background music and lighting create a peaceful atmosphere at night.

We arrived late on arrival day for us in sukhothai (8pm) and were one of two tables here. The last running the restaurant was very kind and made a big effort with helping us avoid bugs via the fans. We had the thai holy basil shrimp and cashew chicken with rice and both were very tasty. We then got some complimentary mango for desert which might be the best mango I've ever had.
