My family and I always stayed at Pathumwan Princess Hotel but this time I choose to stay at Lit Bangkok Hotel just to give it a try.Pros1. Lobby is big and clean with friendly and helpful reception and bellman staffs. They always welcome and smiling whenever they see us.2. I have booked a Luxury Triple Suite room which is big, clean and comfortable comes with a living room, separate shower and toilet. 2 sinks are provided which is very convenient for us 3 adults staying in the same room. Room is quiet because it's not located at the main road but a small alley but it's not secluded.3. Although hotel is not a new hotel (about 11 years if I am not mistaken), but the maintenance is still very good.4. Swimming pool is not big but it's enough to cater for guests especially when we wake up early morning for some work out after breakfast.5. Location is very good, near to BTS National Stadium station which is just a 5mins walk from hotel through a small alley. When crossing the station or link bridge you get to go to Siam Discovery, MBK centre etc.Cons1. Room is big looks great but still need to improve. The mattress is sinking in the middle which caused bad sleeping quality. I have 3 single beds in the room which I have tested it out, 3 of them are sinking in the middle. I would recommend It's time to change new mattresses.2. All towels provided in the room (except floor towels) are old with tearing edge, I recommend to change new towels for guest comfortability.3. Breakfast spread are limited. We stay 5D4N, everyday wake up to the same choice of breakfast menu except they change the soup, noodles, rice with 1 type of meat dish everyday. The rest are the same every morning. Cafe staffs are not efficient especially comes to when we order noodles from the order chit provided on the table, when the noodles are served, they did not give us the condiments (the fish sauce, sugar, chilli powder, pickles chilli in 1 condiments container) until I have to request for it, this happened not only on my first day breakfast but also to my second and third breakfast. How about just ready the mentioned condiments at the serving bar so that guests able to get it by ownself. The rest are all good, can be even better if the small details are well taken care of. Anyway, it still consider a good hotel, my family and I will come back again to stay with...

Great service, Amazing location, but the rest… disappointing.

I will start with the strong attributes which are the location and service. The service and workers are very kind and genuine and it really does make the stay a little better!

And the location, few minutes from the train station and the MBK is just amazing!

But sadly thats the only good things i got to point in this estate.

I will start by saying this is the most underwhelming 5 star hotels i experienced. And with the price tag attached to it (and the 5 stars title) i expected a better stay.

If you take a gym into consideration in selecting a hotel in Bangkok, DON’T choose this hotel.

A gym is an important thing to me in a hotel and when i searched a hotel in Bangkok i knew having a gym is a requirement. And oh boy tell me this is the worst gym i ever seen in a hotel. I have been to hotels fourth of the price with 10 times better gym facilities

There is no pull up bar, no squat rack or even bench press rack which is the bare minimum! I didn’t even asked for a cable machine (which there isn’t)

I know it’s harsh to depend so much on a gym facility in a hotel review but for such a price and such reputable hotel that use the gym as a selling point. i feel scammed.

Beside that the restaurant is vastly overpriced, as it feels it exploits the fact that it host rich and petty tourists. A price of a coffee here equals a whole meal just a fee meters away!

And lastly the room itself was lacking… the shower and toilet which weirdly had no separation made it a bit akward (and smelly) for whoever had to poop while another showered… the ac was very loud (which at first we thought was our neighboring room but turns out it was from the ac) that really didn't let us sleep and also for me the pillows were thick and hard making me wake up with sore neck (if i slept, which didn’t work smooth for me)

So sadly I can’t recommend this estate. The location and service were top notch but with such disadvantages I can’t accept paying such a price! Real shame , very overvalued, overpriced and underwhelming! All style...

Best about this hotel is Location. No.1. Service is excellent too.

Important notes in bangkok. To book a hotel. 1st is Location. 2nd is Clean 3rd is Security Environment.

Daytime have lots of police and security patroling outside the mall and main road. So is safe.

Rooms is great. Sufficient and enough for what we need. We pay what we get. My room is 616. Highest floor is 7th Floor. If i not wrong. Level 3 to level 7. Each level has one expensive room (Spectrum Suites) The rest is mid tier and budget.

The hotel doesn't have a great window view outside. As the highest floor is 7th. I stay in 6th level..I did not use their gym and swimming pool. I literally only spent most of my time outside shopping.

Always use Grab App to book your taxi..Is much cheaper than calling outside taxi and bargin. TukTuk much more expensive than Grab App. Never use TumTum. You can only use once TukTuk for an experience.

Definitely no regret. Best hotel for shopping lovers. Walk out to main road 2mins about 150M. Turn right is 7-11 (24hrs). Turn left and cross the road is MBK Center with 24hrs Mcdonald and everything you need.

3/4mins walk only to MBK Center 1st mall About 300M. Is safe to walk at night too along the path way with well lighted area.. Link bridge to all malls you name it. MBK Center. SiamScape. SiamCenter..Siam Square One. Siam Paragon. Central World. Big C Supercenter. Platinum Fashion Mall. Literally no need Public Transport. Just walking distance will do..Save cost and photos taking. Is best to start off from10am onwards.

This hotel super clean..Cozy..Worth the price. Staff and all very friendly. So far i only encounter 1 erorr is the Bathtub for Spectrum Suits. The Bathtub not able to drain the water. However is still ok..You will feel super tired after all walking and shopping. So in the end you will just normal shower.

Photos attached are all their breakfast. Breakfast is good. Not that excellent but is what we needed for everyday breakfast protein...

1. I just want to express my regret of staying at your hotel. Your staff was too nice to offer me a ride from hotel back to residence although I insisted that I could walk since I was carrying a cup of coffee. He insisted slow driving but there was coffee spilled over me and it was hot coffee on a white tee. And I was flying back home the same night so I had no time to wash and have already packed my luggage. So was stuck with the stained tee and pants throughout my flight. 2. Hotel was nice to offer 10 min free foot massage at the spa downstairs. First day when we checked in the lady was kind to help us make a booking. Second time when we wanted to book again the man at front desk wasnt even looking at me and just said "book direct through the spa". 3. We stayed at both residence and hotel. Residence is at the back of hotel, further away from the main road. I asked them if they can drive our luggages from residence to hotel when we check out, they said ok. I called them before I left the room and asked them to pick us up. We went down, the golf car wasnt there. We called twice again and waited total for over 20 min. We could have walked there already. 4. Hotel/ residence is located inside an alley which is rather busy in traffic. Street is very narrow so you will have to walk on the extreme sideways to avoid your toes being run over by motorbikes/ cars. 5. There is no anti-slip mat at shower and it was a marble flooring. 6. Swimming pool at hotel is not accessible by lift. have to climb up the viral stairs from G/F, with only 1-3 chairs exposed to the sun. 7. Washing basin is away from the toilet bowl so not too user friendly. 8. There is no front desk at residence. While there is front desk at hotel, dont expect at all times someone will open the door for you. Also the phone from my room didnt work so i had to go down to ground floor to ask for toilet papers. All in all i dont recommend this hotel.

Great location, 10 minutes walk to MBK, however hotel is located down a side street so very quiet overall - happy with that! The rooms are a little quirky and unconventional. I had the Full Spectrum Suite. Bathroom and Shower had blue/red lights. All visible from the bedroom although you have blinds for the toilet and bathtub. The shower had great water pressure but annoyingly the lights would stay on so you had light seeping through into the bedroom. Staff were always super friendly, bought me an iron very quickly. Nice big fridge in the room which made it convenient to store your drinks Complimentary water available. Good selection of toiletries but nothing special. The air-conditioning is way too powerful, had it up to 23 degrees and it was still very cold. Turned the AC of in the bedroom. TV signal was too poor, they had a music player with usb and cd option but no Bluetooth connectivity which was a good idea but in practice not very useful these days. Seating area just wasn't comfortable. Bed was comfy, not much of a view if you open the blinds. Breakfast was pretty basic. They have al carte option but was too basic. I would recommend just going down to MBK for breakfast. Overall, nice hotel. Great location, quiet road, attentive staff, comfortable room. Would stay again for the price. Paid 15,600 Thai bhat (£360) for 4 night's.
