Bangkok museum is incredible! Incredible exhibition selections- for example, a patchwork quilt you can add your own stitching - part of our everyday human lives as human women for millenniums. So simple - to be once again stitching ourselves into part of a greater collective, as we weave ourselves into the stories of womanhood.
The photography exhibition was also poignant and wonderfully curated.
One of the best museums I’ve ever been to and I love museums!
I think of how moving the exhibition was on human suffering and capacity to combat adversity, and the wonderful message of bravery for art.
It alchemises suffering into art in such a poignant and human way. The rock is already beaten smooth by the waves of the ocean. The artistic sentiment and the desire to capture and articulate the depths of the human soul is inherent to the entire creation. The photographer ventures off bravely to make art.
In other exhibitions and mediums the pain comes before the art. The art is an act of sense-making. In the medium of photography, the artist enters the risk of pain knowingly to create the art. The experience is viscerally revealed as a snapshot. There is no sense-making. The artist knew pain would be present, so the artist showed up to capture it… risking their own selves to be a part of “us”. To show us what we are. To shows us what we could be, both good and bad.
It shows how fundamental art is to humanity. It shows our courage. It gives us something greater than ourselves to aspire towards.
It was really beautiful and so well articulated. 🙈
I love you BACC.

Read morevibrant hub for anyone who appreciates art, culture, and creativity. The space itself is beautifully designed, with clean, open architecture that allows visitors to freely explore various exhibitions and artistic expressions. If you’re someone who enjoys visual arts, installations, or cultural showcases, BACC is a must-visit. One of the highlights is that the center regularly rotates its exhibitions, offering something fresh and thought-provoking with every visit. Monthly events, pop-ups, and temporary exhibitions ensure that no two visits are ever the same.
However, there are a few rules to keep in mind: the use of selfie sticks and tripods is not allowed, and filming videos is generally prohibited. While this may feel restrictive for some content creators or tourists, it’s understandable that the venue wants to maintain an atmosphere of focus and respect for the artwork.
I’ve visited BACC on two separate occasions, and my experiences were quite different. The first visit was wonderful—staff were friendly, the exhibitions were well-curated, and the atmosphere was inspiring. Unfortunately, my second visit left me with mixed feelings. I experienced what felt like racial discrimination from a few security personnel, which was both disappointing and hurtful. It’s important that all visitors feel welcomed and respected, and I hope the management takes steps to ensure consistent, inclusive treatment for everyone. Despite this, BACC remains a significant cultural landmark in Bangkok, and I’d still recommend...

I wish... The gallery shop could combine all the shop around to be in one place. Make it big, make it update and relevant with the excibits, make it the whole floor, and pay in one spot.
The rest of the space could be more excibits, it is lovely space and can create anything.
Theatre & Film also art... Why this place doesn't have any show? From all over Theatre & film students, artist's in South East Asia?
In area where allowed to drink, can we have space to sit and have vending machine to just get some water & soft drink? If you have, I haven't see one. Not talk about the coffee houses where can't find a drinking water in the menu though.
One excibit, they rarely have random story... But story teller here quite random... I losted with the guild lines 😅
The building and organisation have operation cost, who pay for it? why don't put some ticket price for normal adults and tourist? Everyone access for free since the organisation have (may be?) government support is good but ask for donation is... What for? You don't need it but if anyone gonna give, it's fine?
Well, the building is really good architecture struction and it is a work of art itself. It is indeed not gonna make you feel, wasted the time in...
