This small hotel was the perfect place to stay at during my trip to Phuket. It’s not very central but also not in the middle of nowhere. Within 10 minutes you’re in Phuket Old Town by motorbike, or you can choose to walk about 40 minutes. In front of the hotel you have a small Chinese temple and a 7-eleven convenience store. Close by is also the NamNaka weekend market which is a great destination for foodies and bargain hunters. Now more about the hotel: The front staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, always in for a chat. She speaks English very well and makes you feel right at home the second you check in. Every morning you get two bottles of water for free and, if desired, the room is cleaned every day. The rooms are huge and comfortable. Especially the bed provides a restful night. There’s a small fridge in the room, AC, a TV, shampoo and body wash are provided, loads of towels as well. Unfortunately there’s no safe box to store your valuables, nor is there a kettle to make some coffee, tea or instant noodles during. More so: the windows are rather thin and since the hotel is located along a street, it can be a bit noisy in the room. Nothing some earplugs can’t fix. Maybe the hotel could consider to offer some for a small fee at the reception! I loved my stay here and can highly recommend you to stay...
Read moreI recently had the opportunity to stay at Nam Naka Boutique Hotel, and while the experience had its moments of charm, there were notable areas that left room for improvement. The boutique hotel is nestled in a picturesque location, offering a tranquil atmosphere that provides a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The staff were generally friendly and welcoming, contributing to a positive initial impression. However, one aspect that stood out was the somewhat lacking amenities. While the hotel exuded a quaint charm, it fell short in terms of modern conveniences. The absence of certain amenities that are considered standard in many hotels left a noticeable gap in the overall guest experience. For instance, the fitness center was minimal, and the Wi-Fi connection was inconsistent, making it challenging for guests who rely on a reliable internet connection.Cleanliness, another crucial aspect of any accommodation, was also a concern. Although the rooms had a rustic appeal, I couldn't help but notice that certain areas were not as well-maintained as expected. The attention to detail in cleaning seemed lacking, and this detracted from the overall comfort of the stay. It's essential for a boutique hotel to prioritize cleanliness to ensure guests feel at ease during...
Read moreI loved this hotel, all of the staff were very friendly, however one man in particular was very helpful. He truly went above and beyond for us, nothing was too much. The rooms are very modern and clean, and equipped with air con. Bed was very comfy. Only downside to this hotel is that it is quite out of the way from the main attractions like Patong/ Katar beach. However, you can rent a scooter from the hotel for 300baht for 24 hours so it was no trouble at all getting around. There’s also a weekend market 2 minutes away with lots of street food and stalls. Elephant sanctuary about 30 minute drive and tiger kingdom 15 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again. Highly...
