Not very good service, we arrived at the hotel at 08.00 after an 11 hour bus journey and we were told check in was 14.00 asked if an early check in was available but told no. Told the reception about the overnight journey and we asked if we could get a coffee while we waited as breakfast was open (we didn't expect any food - but wanted something to drink) we were told there's a 7 11 up the road. We had a walk around the area outside the hotel but there isn't really anything nearby. Asked about a shuttle service to phuket old town - they don't have one (sure I read somewhere that they did).
We finally received the key to our room at 13:45, after watching many others check in. When we received our room we were disappointed that the only view was of four, large concrete squares full of stagnant water and a blank, white wall. There was a balcony with a table but no chairs. There was a strange smell when we entered the room, we had booked a superior room but we were too shattered to complain.
The first night there was a private party in the restaurant and we could hear every beat of the music, which went on till after 11pm.
Next morning, we noticed the electric had gone off in the room over night. We were up at 06:30 to go on a trip we had pre booked and had to use mobile phone torches in the bathroom in order to get ready. We asked at reception if someone could look at the electrics, and we complained about the music, we were told that they had a private party and they don't have any more that week.
When we returned from the trip 18.30 we asked again if they had looked at the electrics and if they had any more parties planned, and told it was OK and no more parties.
Entered our room and were greeted by the strange, foisty smell again. On our 2nd morning (Sunday) we were woken up 07.00 with a band banging a drum outside the hotel something to do with the hotel thanking Buddha. That was the final straw for us so we booked flights back to Bangkok for the next day, the hotel says they have a shuttle bus to the airport but when we asked it was 900 baht, so we booked a grab taxi for 450.
On our final morning at breakfast which is directly below our room I discovered that the funny smell in our room, was the same as one of the thai dishes they served . We were booked for 4 nights but only stayed 3. Not a good hotel in our eyes, on a brighter note the pool was good and the pool side rooms...
Read more🤮 This is a 2.5 star hotel at MAX.Positives:1) Rooms are large2) Shower is very good and water is nice and hot3) Air con is very good.Negatives:1) The streets surrounding the hotel have nothing to see. You’re very far from Patong/Kata/Kamala beach & these areas are bustling - you need a taxi to reach/scooter and it varies from 60bht (scooter) right up to 600bht for a taxi. Download the Grab and Bolt taxi apps.2) The breakfast and food is horrible, but because the street has very little to offer you’re stuck with eating the breakfast. Mouldy/reheated and stale food offered. We had food poisoning (see picture of mouldy bread).3) Rooms were dirty - when we checked in, it was obvious that the staff only changed our bed sheets and replaced the towels. The bathroom/shower/sink and floors were filthy. See photos of the water scum on shower screens and handheld shower. I spoke to 3 separate guests during my stay about their rooms and they all said the same - they felt as though only the bed sheet and towels were changed before their check-in (one person said that it looked like old towels from the guest before was refolded and put out for them).4) Spoons and cups in the rooms are dirty.5) Towels are cheap.6) Staff do not speak English, so you can’t communicate efficiently.7) They have a fresh omelette station at breakfast and even if you request a vegetarian omelette they cook it in the same pan as ones containing bacon.8) The wifi - if you’re inactive for a period or you leave the hotel and return, you have to keep inputting a code to log back in.I wouldn’t stay here again and wouldn’t recommend...
Read moreWonderful place. Wonderful experience. It couldn't be better. The hotel is bright. Small in size, but feels spacious. The rooms themselves are also spacious. It's nice to be in them. Very clean! Cleaning is carried out every day. And after the departure of the guests, the rooms are carefully cleaned. It was easy to notice when walking down the corridor. Very comfortable bed. Large and with a very comfortable mattress. Beautiful pool, it's nice to swim in. In general, the design of the hotel is thought out to the smallest detail, down to the handles of the wardrobe and a welcome drink. It is clear that love and resources are invested in this place. The breakfast is varied. There is both an Asian menu and a Western one. Our favorite is a freshly made omelet. Responsive, friendly staff. And this is an important component of the hotel!☝️ Special thanks to the hotel manager, reception staff. To the restaurant manager and her assistants. Thanks to the cleaner who cleaned the room. Qualitatively and delicately. In general, providing service and being inconspicuous at the same time is a high level, and this is the place to be in this hotel. The hotel is ideal for couples or families with children who are looking for an elegant holiday with taste. Parties in the rooms and noisy behavior here feel inappropriate. Seabed is a small oasis in the...
