This place is interesting in many ways.
The menu is a wide variety of different items from beef to different types of sashimi.
I tried the majority of it I've been here over 10 times but I quit going about a year ago due to the number of times that the sashimi was just dreadful.
Sometimes the sashimi was good, and other times it tasted like it was rotten. It wasn't actually rotten what happens with shashimi is that when you freeze it and unfreeze it and refreeze it unfreeze it you destroy it and it goes bad. It's very likely that the storing process they used is inefficient
They made a number of sushi rolls and they have nice sauces, different crunchy things on top. I generally enjoyed the sushi rolls given the price was quite low for the buffet.
The tempura shrimp is absolutely fantastic, they always bring it out very hot and the batter they use is very delicious.
The rice they used is actually seasoned very well, surprisingly the rice is good for such a mass production and such a low price it was seasoned well it wasn't smushed together too hard which most places like shubishi or whatever do a terrible job with.
Overall I think this place needs to work on the storage of the shashimi. Everything on the menu is great if the fish is good in my experience.
Been here and we've been friends with the staff, the staff always greet us and they even call us our names (I think that's because they had to write our names down during the covid situation so they always knew us and were very kind when...
Read moreBaikingu is hands down the best Japanese buffet restaurant I’ve ever experienced! From the moment you step in, you’re welcomed by an elegant atmosphere that perfectly blends modern Japanese aesthetics with warm hospitality.
The selection of food is absolutely top-tier. From premium sashimi that melts in your mouth to perfectly grilled wagyu beef, every dish is crafted with precision and the freshest ingredients. The sushi bar offers an incredible variety, and each piece is expertly made with high-quality seafood. The tempura is light and crispy, and the ramen is rich and flavorful—just like something you’d find in Japan.
One of the highlights is their all-you-can-eat everything from menus. The dessert section is also impressive, featuring matcha cakes, mochi, and creamy Japanese cheesecakes that perfectly end the feast.
Service is impeccable—attentive, friendly, and always making sure your dining experience is flawless. Despite being a buffet, the attention to detail and presentation of each dish make it feel like a high-end dining experience.
Special mentioned to Wanchai he is the best taking care of me.
If you’re a fan of authentic Japanese cuisine and love the idea of unlimited premium dishes , THB 599 per pax for 1.45 hrs. Baikingu is an absolute must-visit. Worth every baht, and I’ll definitely be...
Read moreI came here for the 4.8/5.0 review and was truly disappointed with the food quality, service. First of all, menu selection is very limited. The sashimi came not chill, very room temperature, despite serving on a bowl of ice. The slice fish us very thin n small. Doesn't taste fresh. We also ordered tempura prawns, but it didnt fry the tempura way whicj is more fluffy n crispy, instead normal fried chicken kind of flour. Some food showed not available on the scan menu, if not becoz we asked, then waitress helped to update the scan system, we would assume its out of stock. What so hard to keep ur system updated ? Service is so so only, nothing spectacular. For the money I paid, I can get better one. Will I come back ? I...
