This hotel is such a find! |We stayed in two rooms as a multi generational family. The 2 bed suite was up a fair amount of steps which are not for the faint hearted in the heat of the day - so fair warning! the room was clean, well laid out and had a lovely balcony with great views of the ocean. ||The second room was the pool suite - which we loved. The balcony had exceptional views (there is a little bit of building work going on next door to the left but it didnt interfere with our stay) .. the pool was small but did the job of cooling you down, - the kitchen and small dining area was cute and functional. You got a few soft drinks and water on your first night complimentary and this was welcomed after a long journey. ||The beds are super comfy, and we realised after staying in several other hotels during our stay, actually the very best beds we had! Pillows were soft and there was plenty of space in the whole room. Lots of wardrobe space, a TV and sofa with coffee table. ||Bathroom was equipped well and large... shower was great bath we didnt use but a great touch. ||The hotel staff are so friendly and helpful especially as my card didn't work to pay, they were very patient! ||The communal pool is literally right above the beach so you can choose what you would prefer, but there are no beds (that we could see) on the beach, and the pool has very few beds and parasols, we were only there for 3 days so it was not a huge issue - but bear in mind. ||In the reception you can cook yourself toast and get coffee and soft drinks - although we didn't. The staff can order you Uber/ transfers etc and trips too. ||The steps... there are lots... if you forget something from the pool to the 2bed apartment - you will know about it! ||The area..a really lovely little area of Panwa, we turned left out of the hotel and ate in the Green Mango restaurant for dinner one evening which was literally a tiny little home based restaurant with sunset views... the foods was delicious but ... be clear about level of spice required ha ha... ||We ate Breakfast and dinner in another restaurant to the right and down the hill, and had breakfast in a cute little upstairs restaurant further around... there is not huge amounts in the area unless you walk a fair way, but there is enough to keep you entertained, with a Pharmacist, supermarket, beach bars, massage, beauty, laundry, tour operators, tourist shops and restaurants all within walking distance. The area is reasonable priced for food and drinks we discovered later! ||But this hotel is well worth booking ahead as prices go up.. fabulous beach, fabulous beds, excellent for a...
Read moreWe stayed for our honeymoon in X10 and were so pleased and happy with the facilities of the hotel, cleanliness and state of the art service offered by the staff. |There are 10 rooms within the complex so we were quite happy to find one free; we had one with a private pool, balcony with perfect sea view (and you could also see Big Budha), deluxe king size bed with 2 choises of pillow (firm and soft) and deluxe linen, a kitchen with everything you need, a big kitchen table, big bathroom (you can watch the view even from the bathtub), plenty of space to store luggage and clothes and a couch. Yes, all this in a room and still had plenty of space to move around - rooms are so spacious.|There is also a infinity pool downstairs that can be used by everybody in the complex, and right in the front you have the beach. You cannot really go in as there are many corals and you could hurt yourself, but the hotel can give you a canoe boat that you can drive around.|There is no restaurant in the hotel, but fairly, you don't need one, as you have about 3-4 literally 3 minutes walking and the hotel provides menus to order in from different restaurants. The restaurants in the area have pure Thai specific, but you can also order a pizza or chicken and chips. In the same area, so 3 min away from the hotel, you have a 7/11 and a Family Mart, there are some small markets to buy fruits that you can enjoy for breakfast, there is another beach, and a nice view point. |There is a laudry facility on site as well, but you have to buy your own powder and conditioner which you can easily find in 7/11.|Our stay was definitelly made more enjoyable and worthwhile by friendly Jeffrey! He works at the reception of the hotel and is the first face we saw when we got there in the morning after about 13 hours trip. We were so lucky to have the room available in the morning at about 10 30 when we finally got there because we could rest for a few hours. Jeffrey welcomed us with a smile and friendly attitude, but so professional. He showed us around, presented the room and the facilities. For the next days, he recommended us places to visit and even booked trips for us to enjoy. Any question we had, Jeffrey could help us and was genually happy to do so. Many, many thanks to Jeffrey! |I really have nothing bad to say about...
Read moreThis is quite a new edition to the area and offers well furnished rooms with extra large beds ( unlike what it says online) the beds are very comfy and so are pillows Beds are at least 180x 200 cm what we call a superking in uk but poss even an emperor size . You also have a kitchen as well. |The views will depend on if your room is close to pool or further back||Be warned if you hate being woken as we do by screaming kids in pool at 0700 get a room closer to top of stairs by reception. But this only happened once and for the other 3 days no issues before 10am. |The one HUGE NOISY ISSUE IS the cockerel next door which starts crowing at 0530 - 0830 am at sunrise & is NON STOP EVERY 4-5 seconds |Its loud and wakes you up no matter how hard you try and ignore it. Ita damn annoying & even a room nearer the top will not escape its loud call ||I will also point out if you are elderly/ infirm or use a walking aid or chair this is the wrong place for you as lots of steep stairs to reach pool or reception |Otherwise its a lovely room and very comfortable with tons of uk film channels from 222 |Great helpful staff and stunning views make this worth a stay but beware of issues i mention |Go to eat at the beach bar a couple of hundred yrds along beach and please i can not recommend highly enough cindys massage nxt to bar. Ask for lee if you need a firm massage as she is reiki trained and a healer she is worth a trip to thailand just for her alone and helped myself and my fiancee hugely as we had 1.5 hrs massage each with her everyday|I promise you will feel incredible...
